thanks for your question. use only Jupiter's jyotisha aspects for this purpose: conjunction, opposition, trine. whole sign aspects, so any orb, though the tighter the orb the more powerful Jupiter's effect.

Hi simon. I'm struggling to understand aparigraha, as a Outsider DT. Can you advise? For instance, I notice that I've paid attention to quite a variety of people, very little of whom convey loyalty or reciprocation towards me but perhaps I've paid attention cos it's a form of 'exploring the world'. Same goes for interests (e.g. I've dallied in many different forms of Buddhism- Chinese, Tibetan, Western, Indian). When aparigraha applies to my social life, does it mean like that I've exposed myself to lots of different kinds of people, now's the time to see who's my posse, who really clicks with me at the core?

Hi Simon, welcome back. The compatibility app demonstration is very interesting. However, I have a couple questions: how is "soulmate" defined in jyotish? It seems that there are so many different definitions of the term floating around that I'm curious as to what does it actually mean? Secondly, when looking at the "overall score" of the compatibility, how is it determined? Is it an average of all the other scores, or...? Hi Vanessa! The scoring is more complex than that but I'd have to look up the details. As far as "soulmate" - I use the standard English associations with the word, hence the use of English and not a Sanskrit word.

@@simonchokoisky Ok, but I guess I’m unclear with the “standard” definition of soulmate. I mean, sometimes it’s defined simply as two people having great chemistry/compatibility. Other times, it is defined as having a past life connection. Sometimes, it’s defined as someone you have karmic (bad or good) connections with. Considering how you defined “karmic glue” and explicitly said it was different from “soulmate” (which you implied was just positive compatibility), I’m curious on how “soulmate” is defined with respect to this specific compatibility rating. Is it just simply having a number of “good” aspects or are there other factors?

@@vanessajeanne Fair question. Astrologically Soulmate is defined as having special planetary connections, such as VE to SU or MO to MA. The closer the better. These indicate a palpable chemistry and spark. The more of these a couple has, the more likely they are to feel attraction for each other. Karmic glue involves the "Unseen" planets- UR, NE, PL, RA/KE. Thus, while Soulmate connections are visible- you and others can tell there's a spark between you- Karmic glue is invisible. Hence when you hear people say "I don't know what she sees in that guy!" ... that's karmic glue- and since invisible planets tend to be less personal they care less about your feelings. They just slam two people together whether they're compatible or not, to work out their karmas.

I concern about modern method result , I had previous relationships that were totally good there, over the top am they have fallen a part . I’m married nowadays with a very very bad score like -17.5 we live together and respect each other .. we don’t have the fire and passion that I had the previous ones . How do you see this ? God bless you. Love your video's! HOWEVER...I had my crypto taken away from me (on the exchange) because I refused to get a RealID to "prove my identity" in 2019. Crypto is NOT "decentralized" as it was when I started buying crypto in 2015. Plus crypto is just numbers on a screen. You can never hold your crypto in your hand. While I understand it's a great short term investment, I say buyer beware, the government can and will take it at anytime for any reason. Ask the truckers in Canada for a recent example.
