This is so wholesome! Please don’t apologize for sharing other aspects of your life. We’re not just law students, we’re humans that do other things than school. I was here for law school stuff but staying for other parts of your life! I agree with you it’s already stressful thinking of school, to drag it out more is just unnecessary negative energy. Please share your book reviews/recommendations! I’m reading first book of ACOTAR and it’s okay and getting recs from “booktok” but want more non-mainstream books :)

Thank you so much! More book content is something I was already planning on sharing! I absolutely loved ACOTAR, it has become my top favorite series and I am ready to start my 3rd read of it already! One I really enjoyed that I don't see talked about is Fire Keeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley!

Macy! I started following you for law school tips and you helped a lot. I really enjoyed how you organize food and tips for planning meals. Can you please share more about that??? I love it! ❤

Yes, absolutely! Thank you for the great idea, I have changed up a lot of how we do our meal planning and grocery shopping too so that will be perfect to share how things have changed.

Hi Macy, I'm glad I found your channel and I just hit subscribed. I'm already a senior and a federal retiree but still dreaming to become a lawyer. I truly enjoyed watching your vlogs which introduced me to NWCU school of law. The schools online set up is absolutely perfect for my situation. I've already started my application and hopefully will start next month, if accepted. Your vlog about your law school life gives me a clear direction in planning and organizing my future law student life. Any other cool tips? Thank you and more power! - Jun

HI Macy I have applied to NWCL and am awaiting a decision. How long does it usually take? These video are great BTW. --Lance

Hello, at the time I applied in 2020 I believe it took 2 weeks, but I know the school has grown a lot since then so it may have changed. Good luck to you!
@coldsoupwithsalt5 ай бұрын
Congrats! So you're only a year away from the bar then? That's great! As far as studying, what do you recommend? Doing all of the assignments first or did you follow a specific schedule mixing assignments with reading time?
@MacyySuee4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! Yes, only one more year to go. I think the suggested study plan the school provides is very helpful, the only alteration to it I have made though is I take a couple extra weeks to do my definitions assignment because I have found that roughly every 10 definitions correspond to the order you learn the material in the lectures so it was much easier for me to complete them that way.

Are you planning on taking the Bar after you graduate and becomming a practicing attorney? What is your ultimate goal after graduating law school?
@MacyySuee5 ай бұрын
Yes I am, but I have not quite decided on a field yet!

Does this law school have a traditional graduation ceremony?
@MacyySuee4 ай бұрын
No since everyone starts at different times the graduation's would not happen at the same time

I'm thinking about applying to NWCL! Question, are you able to accelerate the program for earlier completion?
@carebrown87704 ай бұрын
I can respond. No, you cannot accelerate completion as the time it takes is what is required by the CA Committee of Bar Examiners.
@carebrown87704 ай бұрын
Also, it’s NWCU not NWCL 😊
@MacyySuee4 ай бұрын
In theory each year could be completed in 11 months instead of 12 so you could shorten it by 4 months, but otherwise, no.
@carebrown87704 ай бұрын
True! But as long as NWCU takes to process enrollment pw sometimes, it’d prolly end up the same time! 😆

I’m on academic probation
@MacyySuee5 ай бұрын
I’m sorry to hear that!
@gemalopez68855 ай бұрын
Hi, Anthony. Don't feel defeated. If you're on academic probation, you still have a chance with your law school; just work hard and study hard. It will pay off at the end. Especially when studying for the bar. There are a lot of resources online that can help. For example, Them_ is or Helix have free online videos, outlines... etc. If you really want to be an attorney don't give up!
