Kandee, I am totally going through a similar struggle on KZbin, my channel was all about photography tutorials for the last 10 years and I really got burnt out with the topic and wanted to start making inspiring/motivational content for my viewers instead. It seems daunting to change topics on your channel and not know if people will keep watching, but I think you can totally do it!! YES, you did open the door again......So glad you made this and shared your life journey in the last few years. I used to watch you all the time, but have had "life challenges" and missed you for maybe a year. My sweetheart of 54 years has Parkinson's and is "fading" before my eyes. Also was in a horrific car accident 5 years ago...requiring TEN surgeries since then..so my life has taken huge adjustment. End of August he was signed up with Hospice Home care...which is a HUGE help to me. I was exhausted almost all the time; like paddling frantically to keep my head above water. Hospice "angels" are the best. So haven't tu ned in to you for a long time...occasionally I would type in your name and nothing new came up. Quick prayers for you....that the Lord help you with whatever you were going through. Now just tonight I felt His nudge to type in Kandee Johnson...and waaaLAAA! Your video of explanation. You do have God's calling on your life. (I'm pretty sure has a lot to do with your grandma's prayers for you!!) So chin up. Get quiet before the LORD, He will guide you into amazing, helpful videos. I love that you open up about being a single Mom on food stamps. I was there as well. We were on welfare, in a homeless shelter cause we had to flee their abusive father. I had no family to help, nothing. Now we live in over a million dollar home in one of the largest US cities, and my kids get private education, they are taken care of and LOVED so much! I'd love to see how your fashion has evolved over the 11 yrs. I loved the Melrose vintage hauls you'd do and then custom them for you. I'm thinking of all the really old school stuff you used to do. I'll recap: You belong here because you help drive that negativity and ugliness away. You have made a difference to me. Everything you shared hit me so much (the depression, being a single mom, being broke, feeling stuck...even your rash! I have melasma) and provided confirmation to what I need to do: say "yes" to things even though they're not perfect, and just do it (the things I've long known and didn't get started because "it wasn't the time"). Yes, keep posting. You, Wayne Goss and others make KZbin a positive place to be. I'm so sorry for the people you have lost. I hope to return the help and healing you have given me.

OMG, I am so excited your back!! All I have is Facebook, so only ever saw updates through there but thought of you every single day. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and being there in my darkest times keeping me going when I didn't want too. I knew you were doing all of these amazing new things, but I live in North Queensland, Australia and didn't have the privileged to see you on these shows, just small clips of the shows. I would love to see all different eye colour looks, especially what you would do for someone with strawberry blonde, fair skin and brown eyes as I too was a Make~Up Artist for 20 so years and finding the right shade of blue that compliments brown eyes is difficult. You seem to be able to wear any colour and make it look amazing. Plus I'm in my latish 40's so I know little is more. Like using it as eyeliner on top and bottom. Looks for mature skin and the products used. Applications for small hooded eyes and how you'd create looks for those set eyes that now are slightly droopy on the end corners. It would be amazing to see your personal life as well, like you use too. I truly felt like you were a best friend to me. I've been crying I'm that happy to see your back and never stopped subscribing to your KZbin as I knew you'd be back. I also would love to see your hair care products, what's in them, are they all natural? It would be amazing to see the results on your own real hair though. I loved how you use to make yourself look like someone else, in person or as cartoon. That was amazing. Oh gosh, can't forget the cooking with Kandee either.
