So glad that you, as a big strong truck driver, mentioned interrupted sleep by the call of nature and no longer being able to get up and go, go, go when you wake up. At 76 I've felt like a whining wimp when I complained about the same things. Nice to know I'm not alone. A State Trooper friend of mine once told me it was OK to go 10 miles over the speed limit on state roads. I try to stay a little below that, but it's true, most traffic in the left lane likes going 80 to 85 miles an hour. Insane.

I70 thru Greenfield has been messed up for awhile now, I haul auto parts out of Anderson Indiana and use 70 to get to 465 because 69 south to 465 South has been under construction for the longest time!!!

I work in Bloomington Illinois. The construction on Market in front of the Pilot has been a nightmare. The inside of that pilot was disgusting before they remodeled. I found a pair of poopy underwear stuffed down in the box that holds the seat liners.

I remember paper logs that was awesome. I remember when ten hours was the maximum hours a professional driver could drive in one shift. That was awesome. Never pay to have my truck and trailer washed a good truck brush with extension handle and great water source is the best way. A drop and hook is a great way it saves waiting to be unloaded. A great video.

What is it that drivers are perfectly sane in the country but as soon as you hit the suburbs, they start driving like they're auditioning for a Nascar driving gig? I agree with you. If you're not 9.9 mph over the posted speed limit, you're holding up traffic. First class looks great as usual.

Yessir those days were wild i used to only sleep four hours then go , could get away with that for about a week the it would catch up with you. But then again iam talking young like in the thirties. Now i am in the seventies and need at least eight hours sleep. Safe travels Kurt.

Here I am 70 years of age and just recently took a trip to Tulsa. Instead of Interstates and being there in 2 hours (a grand exaggeration), we took the back roads, enjoyed the different scenery and arrived there 10 hours later, stress free!

I feel bad for you truck drivers on the freeways and highways. People cut in front of you and ride your rear end! When I'm driving I always respect the vehicles a lot bigger than me. Be careful driving in the snow. I worry about the other driver not myself. I've lived in Washington State on the eastern side all my life and the winters can be brutal!
