My Mom died on Sunday, and that's the mentality we're trying to have. It was amazing to see how she lived her life, and she was the best Mom. We were so lucky to have her, and we lived more with her in the time we had, than many families do in much longer spans. It sucks to let go of something and someone you love, but, dang, just the idea that you were able to have that relationship period, that's luck. Losing it doesn't feel like luck, but it's better to love it and miss it than never experience it. Be happy it happened, not sad that it's over. It's HARD. But it helps.

I just recently stumbled across your channel and binge watched a whole lot of videos of you guys. You all are so genuine and good people which is really inspiring and uplifting. But what really gets me with your videos is how open you are about emotions and how supportive you guys are. As a man that's definitely not self evident since our society always teached us to be the "tough" guy and hold back on our emotions and don't ask for help or support because we should be able to reach every goals by ourselves which is really sad. When Derin left, we were crushed, and we will be when Matt does too, but the thing about the YesFam is that we grow together and we inspire each other. One thing I’ll say about yes theory, this channel really is like no other. I’ve felt vibes from this channel that I’ve never thought would be possible from a video. Just relentless positivity, culture, inspiration and just.. happiness. Whatever these folks do in life, they will be successful. Matt, I haven’t watched a Yes Theory video in a bit, but when I saw this I instantly clicked on it. I just want to thank you for all of the wonderful moments you have captured for us and the lessons you have taught us. I remember watching your channel religiously and being so inspired to constantly go towards the unknown and do the things the made me uncomfortable. However, overtime I lost myself and around the same time I stopped watching your videos I stopped seeking discomfort. I became comfortable, stagnant, and uninspired. Life was just survival for me and I had forgotten the importance of change. I truly needed this video. It completely reignited my flame. Your courage to share with us these next steps of your journey, no matter how scary they may be, is amazing. Thank you Matt, you have no idea how many lives you change by just being you. This is so inspiring to watch. I'm at the age of 26, and miserable as can possibly be yet do not have the courage nor the luxury to leave what I am currently doing for that risk that might pay off one day. I think this is life for me. It is what it is. I'm from a culture much more harsh than Omar's but I hope to everything I have his and yours and Thomas' courage. Seeing discomfort is something that I pretty much have to assume my family as dead till they come around to the idea and it's psychologically an impossible venture realistically but the ultimate dream. maybe one day. till then, I shall keep watching.
