HEADS UP - the video cuts at 9:39 but should have just under 2 mins more... Can't figure out at all why YT isn't processing that last bit and we're already live sooo summary: - If you're London based, next event live in the description, and please comment with what you want more of from a community POV: buytickets.at/omniaperformance/1287574 - I ramble about the importance of reflecting on how you interact with YOUR environments, and that sometimes change can be massive. - I probably repeat myself. - I lol at the fact that nothing keeps a person accountable like a YT video a week, so we're in this together. - I reiterate for you to like, comment, and subscribe. No idea why that has happened, apologies! Will try and sort in KZbin editor 🤔

Welcome to London. Great to have you here, if only a couple of days a week (which is actually the perfect amount of time to make the most of the working week now in town). Looking forward to more community events which I think will be the key for driving activity here

I made a similar move, left Edinburgh for London and lived there for a period. I kind of brushed Edinburgh off as being too small and almost boring dare I say it. It's totally not when you go somewhere else, you cherish returning again! Anyone who says London is a shithole, well it is what you make it and what your unique circumstances are. I lived in North London, and totally rate that area. After a while, I moved back to Edinburgh and hop down there a couple times a month for work. Suits me well now. But for sure, if you like just being able to charge out the door on the bike or up a hill, Edinburgh is definitely the better fit. You'll get the best of both worlds I am sure.
@david-jr5fn4 ай бұрын
You could probably find somewhere in London or just out of that would give you both options, with regards to London, location, location, location has because more important then ever before choose wisely because frankly some parts are deteriorating fast.

The best of both worlds. Feeling pretty jealous. I would only say to think about all the ways to reduce the commute between each place as with it being a more regular occurence it needs to be streamlined

Hi, Fergus. I have been watching your videos and learning from you for the past weeks. As someone who has never visited the UK, I have fallen in love with Scotland just by watching your videos. I also feel the reasons you listed are a true reflection of your current mindset, and they've helped me figure out my own situation and emotions to some degree. I believe the decision would benefit your mental health, business, and family. I hope you can make me look forward to visiting London as well!

London is getting a lot of shit in this comment section, and I hear everyone. But I don’t necessarily agree, London has got so many young ppl who are turning away from the drink/club heavy social life and towards more outdoorsy vibe. Healthy balance, as you say, is great. And Surrey could be seen as a more bland Scotland monroes …… ??!?!? Ok maybe a stretch, but think it’s not all bad!
@huk176 ай бұрын
And Fergus, if you do see this, maybe some long cycles around the Surrey hills, Sussex, London-Brighton-London etc could be fun? Nothing better than a long ride in the summer imo
