The section with Nightmare Huggy in Home Sweet Home was nicely done imo. But yea, I have a 10 year old so I'm very accustomed to this modern day " mascot horror " that everyone has jumped on & their endless puzzles, I just think this chapter went a lil overboard on them to kinda fluff up the gameplay where story is missing. The chat all saying "Bioshock Reference!" at some points is nice to hear because I had been thinking that same way when I had first seen scenes from this chapter. In one part of the game you can see Kissy putting Poppy near the button so she was able to reach it and press the button to activate the elevator to go up and turn on the power since she was the only one that knew how (1:35:29), which gave off the same vibe as "Big Daddy" from Bioshock putting the Little Sisters on his shoulder and escorting them and protecting them, quite like Kissy did for Poppy. And same with the train scene where they have the owner of poppy playtime giving you a proper idea of the meaning behind the company and what its about before it was shut down, and also shows you some of the most important things that are apart of the environment you'll be playing in (23:12) Quite like Bioshock did with Andrew Ryan who came up with the idea of rapture in the game and at the beginning of arriving to rapture you get an idea of what it's all about and it's reason for being invented in the first place, so in that sense he is considered the protagonist. And I would also consider the boss of the Playtime Co. also a protagonist to the story behind the game given that without them the inventions/antagonists of the story wouldn't have even existed. I'd suspect that the developers were Bioshock enjoyers themselves in their early days of playing video games and decided "Hey! Why not put some references from that game since it's one we enjoyed. Maybe people who have played it themselves can catch the references we throw at them from the game!". Even if that isn't the case I still will say it gives off that same type of eerie feeling that Bioshock gives you at the beginning of playing the game. Especially even more in this chapter since it's definitely more horrific and terrifyingly enjoyable to play more than the others. With the whole abandoned area idea and aftermath of incidents that were done by the characters that are antagonists behind to do whatever they wanted since they were no longer able to be controlled correctly by the workers/owner which is shown to you while completing the game. I know this is a long comment and probably useless but I still thought why not share my thoughts, especially since many had said the Bioshock reference comment too. I think this chapter is great though, and I am proud of how far the developers of this game have come from Chapter 1 to 3.
