What a time!!! Not you uploading while I am in the depth of paperwork. I am sit, sat, and seated!

Worst Wingman Ever was so touching and lovely! I both want to devour Just for the Summer and save it at the same time! Just started Let Us Descend by Jesmyn Ward and taking my time with it.

I love your channel so much!! Thank you for all of your energy and recommendations! I am a big young adult and middle grade reader but I haven’t seen as many videos, including those so thank you for talking about them!!

I got suckered by the pretty cover of gothikana at the library and I have never been so annoyed that I wasted valuable reading time with something. The best part was the music playlist in the back

I just read Worst Wingman Ever yesterday and even though it was really good I think it confirmed I won’t be able to handle her full length works because I was balling😢

OMG SAME SAME ON GOTHIKANA. I gave it 2 stars but it was not a good read at all. It gave me the icks the entire time. However, the indie published book tells us what happened to the kids. SAME SAME on Spark of the Everflame. THAT ENDING.

I was curious about Home is Where the Bodies Are, but also a little iffy from what I had read in reviews. A lousy ending is a no-go for me. Thanks for the heads up.

As soon as I saw the cover for home is where the bodies are I knew it wasn't gonna be what I hoped... I haven't read it but books with covers that get me hyped from vibes alone never end up working it so sad 😭

Maid For It reminds me of a middle grade book I just read called Shark Teeth. Similar subjects and also deceptive in how heavy it got.

It's a scifi-thriller, not a pure thriller, but I didn't see the big twist in These Burning Stars coming. I'd actually thought the twist would be the exact opposite, but it was so much better!

Have you read the graphic novel "Other Boys"? It's one of the looks-happy types that is really crushing, and based on a true story at that. Read it in my local lgbtq books shop and immediately bought it for my classroom after bawling my eyes out finishing it. A great book to emphasize reaching out to a classmate that may be struggling.

I'll never understand why so many dark romances have terrible things happening to kids as subplots and then spicey time between the two main characters. The two do not belong in the same book. There are three I can think of off the top of my head with that setup. One I forced myself through to the end and I have regrets (looking at you Haunting Adeline). I will never be into the romance or spice of a book that throws such upsetting subject matter at me.

I really have to admit I am old school and I prefer fantasy romance or even rofan to romantasy :( I mean it has been a subgenre that has actually been around a long, long time.
