Hi! We are Phil and Alex! After leaving California in an RV, traveling full time, and helping our littlest with an open heart surgery, we've settled down in Tennessee. We found our homestead land and are learning each day how to live a more sustainable life. We are a family grown through the miracle of Adoption & Infertility Treatments. Our precious daughters are Kinsley Grace (6 years old), Callie Jo (4 years old), and Cassidy Drew (1). I’m 71 years old and still dream of him every night, wake up and cry, but I have been greatly blessed in my later years with very loving and supportive children. Great blessings to all. Prayers for patience and joy! You all have accomplished so much inside and outside your home. It gets more gorgeous everyday!! Your girls cracked me up in this video, when Cassie was saying 'mere...it brought back so many fond memories of my one and only child. She was about Cassie's age and would frequently say 'mere (come here) and 'mon (come on). But my favorite was when she would hang on my pant leg and say "hold 'er" ( hold her)! She is now 29 years old and we still say these silly sayings and get a good laugh!!!! Enjoy every minute with your family!! Time goes by so fast!!! God bless! 🙏❤🙏

Just a different perspective🤍-it’s really not helpful to people to hear these things, they know God is in control and everything happens for a reason. But people are allowed to feel sad and express those feelings. And when other people say things like it’s all in God’s timing or everything happens for a reason it just diminishes their feelings and makes them feel alone. I’m sure you meant well, but if others read this I just wanted to shed some light on how to respond to people dealing with infertility or grief. The best thing to say is just “I’m here for you and it’s okay to be sad”

Yes yes yes!!! We are in Michigan and I swear the sun never shines here!! We have land in Sevierville that will be home (not soon enough!!) and this time of year is rough!!! I also am in the middle of switching jobs and learning so many new things after being at the same place for the last 12 years. Sometimes life is really hard and sometimes it really sucks. I need to get my feet back on Tennessee soil!! And, while I didn't struggle with infertility, I have experienced many other setbacks in life, including having pretty huge health hurdles. Take care Alex... Give your body some grace and time to recover, so close to being ready to grow the next miraculous life💗

I’m up in Michigan and the SAD is in full effect here. Recently had Covid which didn’t help things. Trying to do some Vitamin D and light therapy… but I am sooooo ready for spring! Give me some sunshine!🌞

I’m sorry that you were feeling sad and cold Alex. I live in Ontario, 🇨🇦. You wouldn’t not like it here right now. We have had extreme weather warnings most days for about the last two weeks with temperatures often around -24°C (~-12°F) and our windchills (what it actually feels like) down as low as -34°F (-38°C).

For whatever reason, the timing isn't right, there will be a point, probably in the summer, where you will stand back and say "wow, if the transfer had happened when it was supposed to, this wouldn't have been able to happen". Seasonal sadness hits me, it's difficult to feel cheery when everything is so cold and nothing is growing yet. I'm just getting my seeds started (south UK) to plant in a couple of months, looking forward to a productive year and wish your whole family all the best

I’m with you on the cold weather. I’m allergic to the cold weather. I’ll breakout in a rash if I get to cold. I’m in Dallas Texas and we get winter weather sometimes in morning 30degrees or so and warm in the afternoon. Wacky weather bad for my allergies. God’s got a plan and y’all will get it started soon. I am sorry- I understand what it’s like to wait! Our transfer got canceled in December because I needed a hysteroscopy first. We were not expecting that and had a few pretty tough days. Infertility is such a waiting game. Our FET is now scheduled for the end of feb so I’m preparing for that now. I hope everything goes well when you do start this Alex! @@jaynewallace7891 Its definitely not a competition. Everyone has a right to grieve and be upset when it comes to infertility and/or adoption struggles. But what IS completely different is the fact that there are MANY, MANY couples who haven't been as blessed as Phil and Alex. They have 3 beautiful girls and are beyond blessed already. Not saying they don't have the right or deserve a chance to have as many kids as they would like, but they are truly blessed with being parents. So many don't ever get to experience that blessing. My husband and I have been trying to start a family for over 10 years and still no child here on earth. We've suffered too many miscarriages to count. We're still hopeful that one of our 4 remaining embryos will be our miracle. We're also praying that adoption could be our answer to beoming parents. What I'm trying to say is that someone who hasn't been blessed with children of their own definitely has a very raw and deeper difference of grief compared to those who've been blessed as parents. And should God answer our prayers with the blessing of becoming parents, I'll then know what a joy it truly is and to be grateful for what I have. And yes, my feelings and perspective would absolutely change should our prayer be answered.

I get seasonal depression and it’s been a little worse because the weather has been so bad this month. I live in Kentucky and we have had 17 1/2 inches of snow snow this month. Courious how much you had had in your area. It’s so strange because I had a histerectomy about 20 years ago and I get very hormonal twice a month. I don’t like it lol. Love and hugs

Stopping the video to make mention I always forget things in the beginning from the end where the stairs are to the RV you should put some type of retaining wall like railroad ties or wood or cinderblocks so that all that dirt doesn’t get muddy and wash away with heavy rain
