If any of the songs seem familiar.... yeah that's because they're the real deal. Jojo and western pop culture, especially relating to music, is an intergral part of Jojo. I can't really say any more without spoiling, but just know that it's a fundamental part of Jojo. When you do find these things eventually, go look up some of the music and see how much traffic it's gained from the fans.

the author is a giant fan of western music, and culture in general as he also references movies, books, and even little bits of trivia... basically think of JoJo as his way of showing his readers about something intstesting that he read at the time he made it...
