To answer one of your questions: basically every season except 1 and 2 focus on different kids. Season 2 is set (i want to say) 3ish years after season 1 and focuses on the 2 youngest from season 1 and their new friends, and the older kids from Season 1 come back a lot. Season 3 basically smacked us in the face and was like "yeah so everything you watched before us was a tv show for us" and takes place in a new world that also has Digimon. Season 4 im not 100% sure but honestly i think it might be connected to 1 and 2 in certain ways because I'm rewatching it and they keep referencing certain things from previous seasons. 🤔 I never made it past season 5 honestly because all my favorite characters were in seasons 1-4 BUT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL OF THEM! Season 4 a lot of people disliked but i enjoyed it, 10 year old me was hooked once they delivered the soap opera level plot twist when i was home sick watching it (with no previous context, btw) and i was immediately rewarded with Jetix starting the season over with a marathon. It was AMAZING

Definitely should react to the more recent ones from Reiwa (2020-present). You should also check out the Super Sentai openings, Super Sentai being the show that Power Rangers gets its footage from. Super Sentai starts in 1975 with Gorenger, and the latest 2024 season is Boonboomger. The 2025 Gozyuger season starts on Feb 16, so you may be able to tack that opening on too if your reaction is after then. Both of them have yearly seasons, so there's a new opening every year, and seasons generally don't have any relation to each other other than the general Rider/Ranger heroes idea, outside of anniversary seasons which do a lot of callbacks to previous seasons for nostalgia. If you want to check out a Rider season, I liked these seasons, being more familiar with Kamen Rider starting in 2010 (listed chronologically): - W (which means Double in Japanese): Detective themed, with the schtick being that the main Rider is two people in one body. - Fourze: Space themed in high school (the guy with the rocket head), very cheery. - Gaim: Samurai and fruit. Yeah, this season is pretty wild, from the cool/silly theme to how F-ed up dark it actually is. - Drive: Cars and police, the only Rider tmk that doesn't have a motorcycle (cuz he has a car). Some pretty compelling baddies, second half of the season is great. - Ex-Aid: The video game season, mixed with doctors, a treat for anyone who's into gaming. - Build: Science themed in an sci-fi alternate universe, widely considered one of the best Kamen Rider seasons. - Zero-One: androids and AI. Super stylish, unfortunately hurt by the pandemic towards the end. - Geats: Battle royale to choose your own reality. One of the more unique seasons, where the Riders are all game contestants and reality is remade across game show seasons. - Gavv: Candy and addiction, the currently running season. Like Gaim, where the suits and transformations are bright and colorful, but the story behind it is kinda F'ed up.

Super Sentai (a super hero organization or squad) (power ranger is Americanization of super sentai like literally including suits,story are the same) . Kamen Rider(Gods of their specific timeline or world. Gods like literally Jesus Level. Some riders with time powers or ability to travel worlds can gather them together. Also now you only saw the openings from the Heisei era (2000 to 2020) if you want you can see the ones from the Shouwa era but I recommend you see the ones from the Reiwa era (present day) those are very good

Any season's main Kamen Rider (even with only some of their full season's worth of power-ups) could easily solo an entire Power Rangers team, sometimes minus the Megazords, sometimes even with them. And most seasons have 1-3 additional Riders (all of whom act like Sixth Rangers) who fall on a spectrum of being able to do the same down to only being enough to occupy the enemy footsoldiers. In short, a Rider's power scales with what the script demands.

If you're a power rangers fan, i'd reccomend checking out the super sentai openings as well, which is the series power rangers is adapted from. You'll see the original mighty morphin suits with zyuranger. Super sentai is kamen riders little brother and has been airing pretty much every year since 1975 all the way up to currently airing boonboomger. And as other people pointed out this is only the heisei era (2000-2019) of kamen rider, there's also showa era (1971-1999) and reiwa era (2020-present) if you wanted to check that out, with the most recent series being kamen rider gavv.
