Something that helped my eczema was removing/reducing milk from my diet. I used to drink sooo much milk throughout my childhood and my teens, but once I stopped drinking milk regularly, my eczema went away. Years of medicated creams, doctor recommendations, and painful itching amazingly gone! Idk if this really applies to your situation, but I thought I’d share!

I've never followed the "no scratching" rule. As a kid, I realized that even if I tried to ignore an itchy spot to the point that it finally stopped being itchy (apparently a thing?) another fucking part of my body was itchy. Its a goddamn never ending cycle. I decided in my teen years that I would just scratch the shit out of my arms, back of my knees... at least I could scab up and lotion up. Now, I use that $100 perscription steroid cream as much as I can, and luckily, I only get 3 or 4 itchy patches a month. Heals up withing a few weeks with my cream.

I tried this biotin gummies and they've helped so well. The funny thing is that all doctors and dermatologists I've ever went to never talked or told me to try it. I've not flared up horribly in like 4 months, and they're doing wonders for my skin.

The worst part of having severe eczema now is that you can be serious about how it literally takes over your day and all you do is itch and people will just look you dead in the eye and be like “why you got all these bumps? You got eeeczema” and then not care about anything else 😂

As a person with eczema, when i was younger i would go home and cry every day because little kids would move away from and look at me with disgust, or when i would pay someone no mind and they tried to pick one of the scabs on my arm because it was satisfying.. kids are so cruel :'(

I mean, I’d say I have an extreme visceral reaction to seeing something like a compound fracture. It def hurts for then more than me, but that doesn’t mean it’s pleasant or comfortable to look at. Part of it is just your mind applying that thing to your body. If I see a compound fracture, my mind is like “holy shit, imagine that’s my leg”
