This looks super convenient to have multiple shot options. Would you worry about this bouncing out of place for a mountain bike trail with more rocks and drops?

I could make the holster with more of a friction fit, and also make the sides taller if I was worried about it falling out on hard jumps. I'll get some miles on it and see how it works, I probably won't be doing any jumps though! It's just nice not having to squeeze the two latches at the bottom of the camera, it's tough to do while riding a bike.

Hi, which bike mount are you using at 00:25 ? Thanks

The Gopro mount is from Amazon www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CWR1ZML/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I changed out part of that mount that attaches to the stem with 2 bolts and 2 spacers. I made a new metal piece since the amazon part was wider than it needed to be and I didn't like how it looked. This is the DJI mount with charging www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09PYF2NXJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

How does the clipless mount hold up in the rough stuff?
@etischer8 ай бұрын
I don't typically ride off road, but I did some measurements... It takes 940g to break the magnets apart, and the camera itself weighs 70 grams. So the camera should withstand 13.4 Gs of acceleration before it comes off. Referencing trailism.com/jump-design/ the worst case G load from their jump landing graph is ~5.5 Gs, so the camera should stay on no problem (2.4x factor of safety).

@@etischerI genuinely appreciate that you did the math on this. Thank you, sir! 🤜🤛

No overheating without the case?

I'm still using the case with the holster. I occasionally get the orange text banner pop up, but since I'm on my bike, I can't make out what it says. It gets plenty of air flow to keep cool since it's on the bike, but it is also sitting in direct sun most of the day.
