Very nice the welt almost looks a little too orange but it's super hard to tell the coloring comparison. I like the brown sole for sure, it's a bold change. Definitely pops more what if the welt was a bit darker would be interesting? Hmm 🤔 you do great work for sure.

Aaron, I'm watching this video for the 2nd time. Your work is Amazing ... I've come to Highly Respect the Shoe Cobbler Trade, I watch a few on KZbin and can honestly say .. in my opinion, ... Nobody finishes a sole edge like you. That final touch speaks Volumes, that attention to detail that you apply to them edges is a Art. I'm sure you've heard it said .. "Shoes are a Man's foundation". And I agree 100% .. But in my opinion, it's That Sole Edge is what's the Foundation. That Fine detail is a Eye Catcher. Your boot here that you did for yourself has a Nice Clean Natural Finish, but I've seen your videos of other clients where you leave them soles looking Highly Polished like these Japanese Bespoke Shoe Makers. Great craftsman as usual, good to know that you can replace hardware because I've passed on a couple pairs of boots because I didn't like the lack off hooks or the color (like silver on brown boots or gold on black).
