The combat looks absolutely stellar for such a small proof of concept. Something that I liked about Gamma is the continuous flow state that he had in SA1. When you knew the level, you could just be on a roll and blitz through the stage as you racked up target combos. Though, I can tell this is going for something different, in favor of a more traditional style of locomotion for a third person shooter. I think I just prefer the flow of the original. That said, I look forward to what else you post on this channel!

This looks sick as hell. The sound design, animation, and movement for Gamma are absolutely unmatched in how satisfying it all just looks and sounds. I don't fault you for considering the scope here, though I feel that's just inherently what comes with working solo. If you ever manage to find and collaborate with a proper team, I do feel finishing development on such a project _could_ become a feasible task? I don't know how comfortable you'd be with such an idea, though. I'd kill for a proper Gamma reimagining, though. I just know an E-101 Mark II boss would go bananas

If SEGA ever has Sonic Adventure remade, it needs a straight-up *REIMAGINING* in many areas, because said areas either haven't aged well, or are just so laughably piss-easy. I mean, with the Gamma bosses (barring E-105), you can just stand in place and spam the bosses while they can do nothing and you've won in under 20 seconds.

That's so sick! Since childhood I thought there was more gameplay potential for Gamma I thought I was the only one. I love the movement here, it looks so smooth to play. I do think the lock-on/timer was a great idea though; Sonic Adventure only failed by making the timer way too generous so it wasn't challenging. If you ever go back to this maybe you could still incorporate it, have two different types of ammunition for different circumstances or something. Just a thought, either way this looks really cool

This is literally perfection. There's so much potential for proper gunplay in Sonic now. Omega could probably play like this in future games and feel quite nice. Honestly, if Shadow the Hedgehog had this type of gameplay whenever Shadow used a gun, the gunplay might have been better recieved. Project 06 proves that there can be potential in even the jankiest of games, and what you have here is a huge step in the right direction. I'd rather have Tails pull out his blaster from Sonic Battle and shoot like this than the wrench spam he has in Frontiers.
