Nice. I'll sometimes enter a public server that's in its early days and make a play, yet some I entered after 100 days and saw weird residuals of forts and bases. The loneliness and waste across the landscape is visceral and impactful. I'm often impressed by the amount of effort put into some.

Well a good public server needs active Admins. Also i would suggest to not allow setting up base in POI´s. If it´s an active server with a lot of people, it can severly interfere with questing.

Subscribed! I miss playing on public server long time ago. Bunch of us would building base. Running to other base to help out with horde and stuff. It was really fun. I remember I built base underground then they add update that zombies can dig lol. I never forget one guy built pirate ship. It was huge man.

Used to own, run and mod my own 7 days to die server. For the "uses zombies to kill other peoples land claims" problem. I changed the land claim block to bedrock hardness. Ment that no-one but the person who placed it can remove it (or admin with commands).

I remember playing on NAPVP back in the day circa 2018, I was a menace, hunting players down based on sounds, because players would make insanely loud noise when melee attacking or using tools, it was crazy

I will never understand some players obsession with building Wal-mart sized bases with tens of thousands of empty square footage and long pointless distances to get to only 10 storage boxes and a couple workstaions. What a waste of time, space, & resources. Edit: Base @12:45 - Now that guy gets it.

it would be nice if we can gather more differnt ore like gold silver and copper, and if they go back to alpha 1 with the mining, rare ore spots and you have to search for it like in minecraft, that was so nice, but now you just need to find one spot and you have like everything

7DtD public server means trouble. Most people bug abuse and cheat since the anticheat system sucks.

land claim doesn't mean anything if some one uses auger to break in.

Landclaim is protected 100% it's impossible to get through it on my server as I adjusted the settings as such

@@ReachGaming unless funpimps changed the auger. It can be done. Because I used to play on a friend's server, and some one was breaking into my base using auger. He did the same settings you did and it didn't fully protect people's bases

Not possible. There are 5 settings for the landclaim 1,2,3,4 each number is basically a % of damage that can be done to a landclaim. Using the number 0 in the server settings stops damage taken by players 100%
