Ey I can play trombone. You might wanna try making it with smaller diameter pipe, and I would look up the length of pipe in a normal trombone. I'm normally a tuba player so I know that my tuba has like 18 feet of tubing. I bet if you made it more specific you could make it really good. My friend has a plastic trombone and he loves it.

4:19 - The correct answer is "Also sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss.... The tune was also used in Space Odyssey, and that could be done, since the tune is in the public domain now. Sorry, since I like classical music, I guess I'm a bit more punctual on that one, especially since a lot of people do not even believe when I say that is a classical piece written by one of the three Strausses.

If you did the math for the tubing and added a tuning slide you definitely could make it work better. You could essentially make a p-bone sort of deal and use metal stockings to bore out the slide to a more or less sufficient fit. (After milling it to a near fit). If you're feeling really adventurous you could take a shot a bending some brass. It would be an awesome challenge to see you take. Fittings with curved corners would allow for a better playing experience making it less nasally. The most important part in any horn instrument is the horn part! The bell you made approximated what one looks like. The closer you can make it shaped like the real deal the more like the real deal it will sound. Please make a V2!
