Not being able to be with my dad while he was dying with covid before the vaccine came out, made it harder for me to accept he was really gone when he died. I'm still in denial some days. The question is why not? If people have abdicated responsibility due to stubbornly ignorant stupidity, then the state should step in to protect them from themselves. I just recovered from COVID, unvaccinated, little overweight, 34 and a smoker. Doctors prescribed me a zpack and told me to keep moving and stay hydrated. For me it was the nastiest, weirdest, and scariest head cold/flu I could imagine. Had a fever for 7 days, no appetite, no taste or smell, unreal heartburn and digestion problems, but I never had a problem with my lungs. My brain was in a hyper aware state until my taste and smell came back and the fever broke. I ate 4 or 5 small meals a day and drank nothing but water and coffee, and I NEVER stopped moving, walked in circles on my car port and around my yard at least 10-15 miles a day, no matter how much my body didn't want to, especially my legs. And my case could be considered mild- moderate. I'm not an anti-vaxxer, and I also believe people should have their own choice. That being said, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. My wife had covid a week before me, she's younger and at least as healthy, and it knocked her down, and it took the monoclonal antibodies to turn her case around. The first 5 days she had it she just layed around and got worse, and she's extremely active. After the her antibody treatment and my positive test, I tried my best to get her moving, and she forced herself, and she started recovering much quicker. If u decide to not get the vaccine, be prepared for a battle, pretty much the gist of my rambling. The potency of this virus is too random to play around with, this is NO flu!

In the US more than 90% of the adult 18+ population now have anti-bodies for COVID either through vaccination 70%...or by having gotten COVID which at the very least accounts for 25% of the population. That's why we are seeing both cases and deaths dropping in the US so quickly. "we've had a 48% drop in COVID cases in the US from Sept 2 to Oct 11th...and a 28% drop in deaths from Sept 17 to Oct 11th...on a 7-day moving average." This is NOT the end of the pandemic but it's good to know we are moving in the correct direction.

It is not fair that vaccinated people with other illnesses have to be put on the back burner to those who refused to get vaccinated, when vaccines are so readily available. Those of us, like me, who have had our booster for being immunocompromised are also fine! The vaccines are safe on weaker people like me, they will he fine in the vast majority of people. They are sending patients away in my city to a hospital nearly an hour away, or you can get a bed in a hallway. My doctor also let me know that they are deciding the protocols around how they will ration ventilators here in North Texas. It's a little early for reliable data. There simply isn't enough of it. But if you're using this as an excuse not to get vaccinated? Well, that's on you, as will be the deaths of others you give covid to or the other patients that needed an icu bed for some other reason and couldn't get one.

@@NoOne-bp2jwWithout that data you don’t know if your words mean anything! Matter-of-fact, without that data your words could be totally wrong! As such, the fact you made that broad unsubstantiated judgement speaks of your religious-like devotion to an ideology not actual science. Furthermore, we already know getting vaccinated doesn’t keep you from transmitting the virus. As such, you continue to be part of the “super spreader class”. Additionally, there was just today a posting that 40% of those “clogging up” the hospitals were the vaccinated ! That is, the data doesn’t seem to be in your favor. Finally, don’t get me started on the actual adverse documented reactions many have suffered from taking this experiment elixir.

@@evolutionistheflyingspaghe2702 Okay. Yesterday was the first time I ever posted anything except my resume on the internet and this reply will be the last. It just isn't worth it. 1) My doctors told me (like I didn't already know) that for me, Covid = Death. No ifs, ands or buts. Due to other medical conditions, I cannot risk contracting it. I got my booster yesterday. I still wear a mask, wash my hands constantly, disinfect door knobs, faucets, phone, remote controls, etc. I go to stores that I must and don't mind going outside where it's easy to avoid others. So I'm pretty sure I am not and never will be a super spreader. 2) Science: My family is composed of 4 rocket scientists. Literally. Two Phds, 1 Masters and one BS. One NASA, 2 JPL and one too classified to really know. Also two Phds in chemistry. They work on solutions to global warning. Then there was the outcast who went into Finance. She stopped at a BS because after working for a few years she realized that everything she learned was pretty useless; decisions are made by rich old white men in back rooms over cigars and scotch. So, I am inundated with science, as all family members are science freaks. And the science, while incomplete, clearly indicates the vaccine is the way to go. And the current hospital covid patients are almost exclusively unvaccinated. Your 40% of vaccinated patient statistic is wrong. Period. Get your science (and news) from scientists or real journalists, not politicians. Now I'm going to go play with my many four legged friends. I prefer them to ANY person I know. 0 13 wawa 1⁹

@@rolandrockstarmega1299 What makes you think that? Most COVID-19 patients aren't just thrown into the ICU to rot. Doctors and nurses work hard to treat these people. There are treatments for COVID-19, and we do use them. Unfortunately, they are not very effective, so some people die anyway. Monoclonal antibodies are used to help the immune system, but they are only slightly effective and are extremely expensive to produce. Antibiotics are used to treat secondary infections brought upon by the disease, but they don't do anything to the virus itself. We pump patients with IV fluids to provide adequate nutrition, and keep them hydrated, but that only helps so much. Thoracentisis procedures are performed to remove fluid from lungs, but it only buys the patient so much time. There is no cure for the virus, only a couple of weak treatments that buy your body a little more time to fight it off. The best method of combating the virus, is through the vaccines. They are free! They are effective! It only takes a few minutes to get the jab, and yet we have so many stubborn people that refuse to take it, because of pundits spreading misinformation about the vaccines, and downplaying the severity of this pandemic. The odds of dying from virus is about 2.14%. In a population of millions of people, that's a pretty high death rate. The odds of dying from the virus after taking the vaccine are less than 0.01% with in the first 6 months of receiving them. The odds of dying from the vaccines themselves are effectively 0%. The only chance you have of dying from the side effects of the vaccine is if you have an immune disorder or an allergy to one of the ingredients, and even then, these rare instances are entirely treatable if action is taken swiftly.

As I watch somebody struggle to breathe but if they did something stupid like drank and drove over some daring daredevil thing I need an emergency care that expect somebody to help them they wouldn’t be laughing that you know they would be dying

As a biomedical engineer that recognizes the flaws in virology and does not believe in "v ! r uses". One of the questions I get asked a lot is "what proof or process would you regard as being valid in confirming (or otherwise) the existence of v ! r uses" (a.k.a. mythical creatures)? Basically scientists would just need to adhere to the Scientific Method, but that's apparently too much to ask. To hold any validity, scientists would need to actually Isolate & Purify out whatever particles they hypothesis could be v! r uses from a sick person, and then perform proper scientific experiments with them in order to prove that hypothesis true (or not). Ironically, the isolation method I'm about to describe is even written in microbiology text books and universally recognized as the Gold Standard of isolation. Yet virologists never do it: ISOLATION & PURIFICATION They should be taking fluid samples from a diseased person and then filtering through "viral sized" particles to bulk remove larger things from the sample. Then follow that up with density gradient centrifugation; which allows objects in a centrifuge tube to be separated by their density. That process would create separated "bands” (objects of different density) around the centrifuge tube. The suspected v! r us particles (if they existed) could then be extracted from one of those bands - thereby Isolated & Purified from everything else. Just Step-1. CONFIRMATION AND CHARACTERIZATION The suspected particles should be visualized under a microscope to see what they look like and Ensure everything under the scope are the same type of particles. Those objects should be mapped and characterized for their physical structure, size, and genetic makeup. Once scientists have ensured they've captured those unique particles only, they would then need to determine if they are in fact real life v ! r uses. EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES They'd need to use those particles in properly conducted experiments to see if they cause the original disease; using animal/plant/human hosts as test subjects, depending on the hypothesis. They would also need to run at least one equivalent negative control experiment (i.e. a control group) in parallel for comparison. If the hosts that were exposed to the particles become ill with the original disease and the otherwise equally treated control group does not, that would be suggestive of the particles being the cause. However, the basic idea of a v ! r us is that it invades a host, replicates itself via hijacking cells, and then comes out with bodily fluid (sneezes, coughs, etc.) and then goes on to repeat that process in different hosts, which is how it "spreads". So scientists would need to try and confirm that by again isolating & purify out those same particles from the hosts fluid samples. If the particles are discovered again in the exposed sick hosts, but not in the otherwise equally treated control group, then those particles could be said to be something like real life v ! r uses. They'd still need to do further studies to confirm the "hijack cells" theory, but hopefully you get the idea. OBVIOUS FLAWS OF VIROLOGY Virologists can’t just take pictures of something or sequence genetic material or claim symptoms/effects equals proof of a “v ! r us”. They need to FIRST demonstrate that through proper experimentation that follows the scientific method - That approach has never occurred in validating what they claim. It's simply a circular reasoning kind of belief system. Their claims of “we have pictures” is ridiculous because microscopic particles don’t have little name tags on them that say “I’m a v ! rus”. Their claims of genetic sequencing and pcr detection is equally ridiculous because they never separated out a “v ! r us" in the first place to prove that’s the origin of the genetic material. They assume they found a virus by comparing it to genetic “virus templates” that were ALSO “found” the same way. It’s like claiming to have found a unicorn based on genetic material that you believe has a genetic similarity to that of a previous unicorn, yet no one ever found an ACTUAL Unicorn to get any genetic material in the first place! Their claims of Effects/Symptoms equals an obvious sign of a “v ! r us” is probably the worst one yet. “The burned bodies MUST have been caused by a fire breathing dragon!". Their claims of “cytophathic effects” (i.e. cell destruction) observed in cell cultures equals a “v ! r us” must be the cause of it is just du mb. So on and so forth… Just an endless loop of circular reasoning. Thanks for reading. Let me know if you have questions.

@@celladora31 Hello. KZbin will not allow me to post links, however you can look up the research of these Drs/Scientists: Stefan Lanka, Andrew Kaufman, Sam Bailey, Tom Cowan, Robert Young, Saeed Qureshi, Barre Lando, Jordan Grant, Stefano Scoglio, Melissa Sell. You can also check the work of Investigative Journalists: Torsten Engelbrecht, Konstantin Demeter, and Jon Rappoport. I'd suggest using something like duckduckgo when searching. I hope that helps.

This is kind of a weird thing to explain, but the St Charles in Bend is a particularly sacred place for me. Me, my mother, and my grandmother were all born there, the only surgery I ever had was there (I had appendicitis) and my mother had a life long affliction of hydrocephalus, which her numerous shunt surgeries and numerous spinal taps were either done there or at the Redmond hospital, before it was miraculously CURED by the most amazing and talented spinal and neuro-surgeon Dr. Kent Yundt (he doesn't work directly with St Charles I don't think but hes a certified badass of a doctor.) AND she was in a major car accident before I was even born. Between my mothers many many visits over the years for her chronic conditions throughout my childhood and the everyday craziness that can land you in the ER, St Charles has always been a comforting and healing place in my mind, no Emergency Room has ever lived up to it in my mind lol, so much so that seeing the hospital gowns the bed linens and the hallways in this video makes me homesick, they're EXACTLY the same as when I was a child, I spent a lot of time in this hospital I even remember doing my homework there some nights and the cafeteria there is bomb guys a nurse was so sad for me once she got me ice cream. Its weird being an adult and being so far away from home and having a hospital of all places bring back memories of a time when I was cared for and loved, even just being a patients kid the doctors and nurses and even the security staff would take the time to make me laugh and smile and talk about what I was going through, even if I didn't even fully understand it at the time. So basically I'm sitting here like man, I hope they're getting through this pandemic alright, even though how can they? Its insanity, but if they're doing half of the hard work and caring and loving atmosphere they had when I was a kid man, you guys are probably doing better than you think. Idk if any of the staff at the hospital will even read this but like, good vibes on ya'll, I feel like I just really wanted to share that.
