my friend, i love this, i love Witch Hat Atelier, and i don't want to hurt your feelings but you need to normalize your audio at the end of editing before you export. it will make your life so much easier and we will actually be able to hear you!

the editor i use does not appear to have a function for full-track normalization or, more importantly, a limiter (if it exists it's either _really_ well hidden or it's only available in higher budget versions of the program, but all my online searches are telling me it just doesn't exist). i do my best to make sure all the audio is relatively even but i err on the side of slightly quieter since the higher i make the gain on speaking clips, the more peaks i have to manually lower the level of by keyframing.

it's called witch hat atelier! (or, the more literal translation is closer to "atelier of the pointed hat" which is more accurate to the lore but anyway--) right now the only official english translation is on the kmanga app and that's not even available in all regions but most of it can be found in fan translation sites 👀 and yeah the pintucks were much more cooperative than i was expecting them to be, my only problem was trying to run such a tight curve through the machine. but with a wide curve like on a skirt hem it would probably be much easier. i watched a tutorial by Casey Renee Cosplay to figure it out, it was pretty helpful!

I recommend you read the manga "The Girl on The Other side." It's a bit sad, but it's one of my favorites. If you're looking for another manga to read I'd go with "Biliomania." It's short and scary with a bit of psychological horror
