Can't believe I've never thought of doing a founding test tube this way. Seeing the color change of the grout is a major help and being able to refill the hydration area keeps one from having to move the colony due to hydration running out. Also love the idea of having different chambers.

Yes buddy that's one pros as some of slow growing colony is being move due to empty testube water, even if the specie can only fill it for over a year.

I have a question about those tubes Theoretically, what would you do if the bamboo part starts molding?

Move them buddy, if you're worried on how to clean the tube after. Completely dry it and the grout will break easily with just an iron rod taps. Remove them then wash, you can also skip making the chambers. Just put sand and cover it with grout so you can clean them easily.

100 g red grout mixed with 45ml water will give you a better result. Just an advice 😂

the problem for me is the opening size, how can you connect them to an outworld? Standard tubing is 12mm so you would need a home-made adapter or something.

I mostly used DIY outworlds buddy, so I just drill what ever the size for them. Check my DIY feeding area/mini outworlds they'll perfectly work for this.

Don't disturb her too much thats a sign she wants to get out, let her relax, put her in a dark and quiet place buddy or cover the testube. There's also a chance she's unmated trying to get out to fly for nuptial.

Can u make a natural set up in a plastic circle big takeaway containers with trap jaws I saw a trap jaw ant with wings I got a takeaway container with soil and made a starting whole I found it today it had a whole a first.

Yes buddy I do that a lot in tiny containers when Im out of testubes, they work great with soil nesting specie.
