If you have regular flour, potatoes & Indian spices, you're in business. I have made it from scratch for my son's birthday, him & his friends, not to mention my family, had a blast. Buy the dips/ chutney & you're set. Have the little pooris made in advance. Mostly we don't add onions...sprouted & parboiled moong bean is more common. The filling is moong bean, potato mash & then the two chutneys according to taste.

It's called Gol Gappa in Northern India, Pani Puri in Western India (Maharashtra), Puchka in Eastern India, Paani Patasha in the state of Haryana, and Gupchup in some other parts of the country. My favourite is Puchka, especially in the city of Kolkata- it's spicy and the potato mixture has green chillies along with chickpeas! Honestly, Beryl does a great job at representing Indian food!

Tunisian food has never been featured, and honestly not just here, but it is almost never featured in any around the world foods, we're either being grouped with the Arab foods or the Mediterranean food and that's about it! But I believe Tunisian food is one of the best out there!! Spiced, spicy, sweet.. you name it! and it is definitely different than other Arabic, north African, or Mediterranean cuisines! My favorite Tunisian street food is Fricassé ♥ It is a fried dough stuffed with harissa, boiled potatoes, boiled eggs, tuna, and olives. I like mine spicy with extra harissa, and I usually eat 3 to 4 pieces every time, with a little, nontraditional, squeeze of lemon. Other Tunisian street foods that are sooooo delicious and definitely worth mentioning are Lablebi, Brik, Chappati, Malfouf, Mlewi, Ma9loub, Kafteji, Bambalouni, Jwejem.... You should definitely feature Tunisian Food in your videos! It is very very very very delicious ♥

Make your own paani and puri Nuzhat. Lots of youtube videos that show how to make both. Use your own mineral water. Add your own fav. ingredients in the water. The most basic ingredients that add explosion of flavor is minced mint leaves & cilantro leaves, very tiny piece of ginger(optional), green chili (1) if you like spicy, black salt, ground fennel seed(gives fantastic flavor 1/4tsp), Amchur powder & chaat masala; a small pinch of both(avl. in Indian store) : ) life is short, eat panipuri. Its our family favorite!

I watched this video and absolutely HAD to try this! But I live in Southeast Alaska, where tbh I have never met an Indian person before so finding Indian food in my part of the world is pretty much impossible. So I ordered this 'kit' on Amazon that would have all the stuff, it finally came the other day in the mail but it didn't come with the Pani Puri Water or the chutney. This is really weird because the instructions on the box say to mix the powdered Pani Puri sachet and the powdered chutney sachet with water and mix; why would they not include those items in the box but include them in the instructions? I've only got the fragile/mostly broken from the trip puri and the little boondi things. Gonna make it work though, I'm sure I can find the recipes for the water and chutney online and I'm still excited to try this!

Hello everyone! 😊 I´m from Czech Republic and my favourite street food is (are) "langoše" [:langoshe:]. Langoš is a deep fried flatbread topped with garlic, cheese and sometimes with ketchup or tartar sauce. Originaly langoše come from Hungary, but they are very popular in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania etc. Beryl, you maybe know this food, but I highly recommend to try to prepare them at home, as homemade they are even better. 🤗 And thank you for introducing me pani puri. I saw an Indian movie on Netflix that showed the main character eating panipuri on a train. In addition to being the first site of panipuri for most Westerners, it was an unusual depiction of eating it portably. He had them in a box on his lap (arranged like a Whitman's Sampler). He carried the water in a squeezy bottle. I actually think the squeezy bottle idea is a better way to deal with the water, no matter where you are eating them. Great video, as always.

actually the indian food you get in UK is just punjabi food, which is one of the 29 states of india. so there's a lot you guys are missing. plus, i feel restaurants in abroad have tried to adjust to the taste preferences of the locals, so because pani puri is so spicy, they might not be making it. and also, it's a spontaneous make and eat dish, not a restaurant sit and eat one.

This is a sort of crepe made of chickpeas flour, water and olive oil, topped with a lot of pepper and cooked in a burning-wood hoven. Socca is thin and the cade is more creamy. Realy simple to make and wondeful to enjoy while walking by the sea !
