You left some things out on the Wooting 60HE: 1. You can set the actuation point of keys with the software (website). So if you want to have an instant trigger, you can set the keys to 0.1 mm, if you want a more "normal" feeling, you can set the keys to 1 mm for example. You can do that per key, so you could set WASD (movement keys) to 0.1 mm and the rest to 1 mm. Also you can switch between different profiles, one for gaming and one for normal use for example. 2. You can get used to the shortcuts on the Wooting 60HE pretty easy (also customizable in the software). You have no physical F1 key, but you can configure the keyboard, that you press the FN + 1 key to get an F1 key input. Pretty straight forward an super customizable.

The SteelSeries Apex Pro has had that for a while. It's been fantastic.

Modtap makes all the difference. Also pressing Fn + [ switches to a typing profile, Fn + P switches back to rapid profile (or whatever is at top of list in wootility) and Fn + Enter switches to your created profile.

I agree its fully customizable. But I think 60% is limited on usage as it is. For instance, whilst editing videos I find the shortcuts fiddly. Missing shortcuts for generic work etc

Tip for cleaning the Ember mug: use dishwasher detergent (I use the regular powder and not the packs) and boiling water. Let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub it out. It should get rid of the stains--works for my Yeti mug and coffee maker carafes. It's the heat/water pressure that usually makes things not dishwasher safe, but the detergent should work fine.

Not sure if anyone has already mentioned it, but Keychron will be releasing a 75% keyboard in the new year that will also feature Hall Effect switches (Keychron Q1 HE) so it will have the same type of actuation as the Wooting. PT/Physiotherapy student here. Anyone looking for advice about posture, slouching and discomfort while gaming or working at a desk, I have some words that could help. The body's comfort is within what it called "the path of least resistance". That's why when you are sitting at your desk for a prolonged period of time, you tend to be in a position of rounded shoulders, curved upper back, and forward head. It's simply a relaxed position. I will agree with Stod that changing your chair and desk position can significantly help, but I wanted to offer an additional solution for those looking exercise based relief. Strengthen the muscles that stabilize you shoulder blades, keeping them together, as well as working on your shoulder "external rotator" strength. These can help counteract the posture we all tend to go in while sitting, and support the neck (potentially improving things like chronic neck pain). Scapular stabilization shoulder be a combo of concentric rowing and isometric holds. You don't need to go crazy with the weight, do what you can handle. If simple body weight goes a long way. For the shoulder external rotators, using a resistance band is great. Concentric into external rotation, eccentric when you go into internal rotation, I would also add isometric holds that involve a more straightened posture. That's all I have for now, I hope it helped a least a little. I apologize for the disorganized and vaguely explained interventions. Feel free to reply with any questions. P.S. Squat University on KZbin is a great resource.

using m50x since 2016, still going strong just replaced the ear pads... the quality you get for 120$ is insane, not to mention you get 3 cables included and a carrying pouch. If someone is reading this and considering changing their headphones go with the professional ones for music production like the m50x, dt770s, or the sony mdr-7506, these are made for all day use and indestructible if you are not an idiot. Edit after getting to the end of the video, for the camera you can look into Panasonic cameras, the feature went under the radar, but they do have some good live streaming options that you can use without a capture card, there is one model that you can power, control and get video from 1 PoE ethernet cable.

I have a desk job, so sat at a desk at home for 9 hours, then I play for 2-3 (usually with my cat). Just wondered how tall you are, I’m 6’7” and need to upgrade, but most chairs don’t extend high enough and have the back curve really low. Also don’t blame open back for being bad, it sounded like a shitty excuse. It was probably the headphones, try the hd600 and have the volume turned up properly and you’ll be fine. I like to hear my environment because I need to and I tend to find myself taking one earphone off still with an open back just so I can hear more of the outside. Only excuse for closed back is a baby crying, but even then that’s why you have two hands and a pillow.

i feel like u sold the wooting a bit short. the actuation and rapid trigger is fully adjustable, so newer pc users can adjust them to their liking. also the 60% isnt as bad as a typical one considering all the software customization. i use mod tap at the bottom right for having arrow keys, left and right bracket mod tap for volume, and i swapped caps lockl and fn so i can hit the first several fn keys with 1 hand. also the gpros id say is def a more claw and fingertip. i palm grip and hate the gpro. i personally really like the deathadder v3 pro. pretty much a straight upgrade from the model d.
