Guga, I purchased your vacuum marinade kit yesterday and the lid blew up on first use. This happened to other people as well. Talk to your manufacturer to make the lid stronger. $37 for this product is expensive so it should be of higher quality. Will purchase again once the quality issue is resolved.

It does look pretty great, but for my taste, I'd like a couple slices of pickle, or some raw onion, or some mustard on the bottom bun. Just something to cut through the richness and wake up the taste buds a little. But hey the magic of cooking is that everyone can make it how they like it. 👍

I'm still at a loss on the American cheese vs cheddar at about a 1/8 of an inch in width or wider. the american cheese garbage i have not purchased since the 60's. Cheddar, Provolone, of Pepper Jack. Depends on if spicy BBQ then added Cheddar. For something different I do the teriyaki with pineapple no cheese. Worcestershire with provolone and horseradish is a good change of pace. But my go to is and always will be spicy BBQ with a thick slice of cheddar, charcoal grill or stove top. I have even done a marinara burger with mozzarella that was great just a lot of work though. Love your show.

Looks good TBH. When I saw it at first I thought you wrapped it in pork skin and fried it or something. Also here's a fun technique that has really made it more convenient for me when making smash burgers. Ditch the parchment or wax paper when pressing them down. Just lightly slam the meet down onto the grill so it flattens a bit, and let it sear for about 20 seconds. Then flip it over and you can just press it with the burger press. No paper needed. Then just sear as normal, flip, and sear as normal.
