I was a safety inspector for manufacturing companies in Rhode Island. while inspecting an Italian jewelry company noticed that almost all of the Italian born employees were drinking heavy pours of wine with lunch. These guys were working on heavy equipment and driving forklift. My report was not well received by the management.

Sardines are good - there's a small community of Brazilian Portuguese in Danbury CT... I had occasionally found sardines there at a supermarket. Great fun to take home to cook!

So dry age flavor are just fat flavor. Stonk to those dry age the belly and used it on normal steak.

I travelled Italy for 3 weeks and thought the Food was just OK!! Italians seem so offended when I tell them this!! Maybe that’s because I live in Los Angeles/and spent many years in San Francisco and am used to a VERY diverse menu from Asian, European etc so maybe eating Italian for 3 weeks straight maybe just made me over it…but I think Italian food in LA/SF is better than Italy!! Same goes for Asian food in LA/SF better than In Asia and I lived in Asia for 3 yrs recently

That might taste good but that's not a Philly Cheesesteak. And even inside Philadelphia a lot of the cheesesteaks are not that great. Guga come to Delaware County right over the border from Philadelphia I will show you some amazing cheesesteaks.

I’ve always loved egg salad sandwiches. I’ve been eating them since I was a kid. Tho I don’t separate the yolk and the white like that. I just throw it in a bowl with some diced white onion, mayo and I mash. I don’t even like salt or pepper on it.

I'm sure there's a lot better chickens in Porto, than that one. Frango Guia style is for me, miles better. A lot smaller chickens, 400 to 600 grams, cut open, and in then grilled. Search for Frango da Guia

I'm from the small city of Amatrice, in Italy, where the Amatriciana Is from. The original recipe did not use bucatini, but thicker spaghettis. Also we use white wine to deglaze with the guanciale, which is going to cook with the tomato sauce. If you make the sauce the evening before, it's even better.
