Protein Shake Granola: • You can make crunchy g...
These vegan cereal bars were inspired by the success of the protein shake granola I made a while ago. The shake acts as a tasty binder that holds everything together, meaning there's no need to add any fat or sugar. They're great for breakfast on-the-go, or tucking into a lunchbox/gym bag
I've just realised I forgot to mention the exact baking time in the video. I think I had them in there for 1.5 hours. I turned the temperature up to 150°C/300°F after an hour. Next time, I'm going to try them at 160°C/320°F, and turn it down if they start getting too dark on the sides

Protein Shake Cereal Bars Ingredients:
5 tbl Vegan Protein Shake Powder (I used salted caramel flavour); start with 3 tbl, then add more if needed
240ml (1 cup) Plant Milk
240g (2½ cups) Jumbo Rolled Oats
50g (½ cup) Ground Almonds
60g (½ cup) Chopped Pecans
¼ tsp Salt (optional; I used it to boost the flavour of the shake)
2 tbl Chia Seeds
4 tbl Mixed Seeds (flax, pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)
5 tbl 100% Dark Chocolate Flakes

Welcome to my kitchen (lab?)
My channel is you watching the results of my 2am thoughts of “I wonder what would happen if I put A with B?” The answers lean heavily towards cake, and my ongoing quest to find a good meat substitute. I’m a vegan that loves animal products, but hates what’s involved; so I’ve dived headfirst into a rabbit hole of different plant-based textures and flavours. These are often the 1st time that I’ve tried a recipe, and I’ll talk you through why I’m using the ingredients and what I think happened when things go wrong.
Grab a vessel of whatever makes you happy and enjoy, but be warned; it’s messy here sometimes!
