Regarding the photo, the non-actor usually looks awful. My dad has been to many comic cons and I have his pictures with various Star Trek actors. Those actors are prepped, not sweaty from waiting in line, and they dont give you a chance to breath before the photo cause they gotta keep things moving. My dad looks flashbanged in all of the pictures.

I was there too! I wish I saw you. If you happened to see someone in an ember cosplay that was me lol. I also wasn't able to properly attend that many events, I was mostly bouncing around from one place to another trying to attend as many fun things as possible, but so much time was spent waiting for set-up that I didn't end up getting that much of anything, and I ended up missing some things I wanted to go to. Including meeting the voice actors... I really wanted an autograph from Nicole Oliver but between trying to attend events and enjoy the vendor hall before it closed, I didn't get a chance. This was my second year going so I guess I'll know what to do next time. But thanks for this video, it's honestly comforting to know that setbacks are all part of the plan, especially as someone who has a lot of "mount everests" I want to climb but struggles a lot with demotivation when things go wrong. But I'm really glad you got to climb yours!

Yeah! There’s actually a few reasons why: 1. I’m older, therefore my voice would’ve changed at least a little. 2. I learned how to present myself on video more. 3. I started EQing my voice rather than just using raw audio. 4. Different mic. 5. My personality has changed VERY drastically since my first upload. 6. I have more general enthusiasm for what I’m saying now.
