I think this is my favorite song of all time! I can listen to it again and again and always enjoy it. Reminds me of my teen years in the 90s when we "used to be alright" me and my buddies. No responsabilities, we just enjoyed life! Road trips, partys, drink beer, smoke joints and wait for the sun to come up in the morning. Mannn.. that was life!

This was the first song I ever taped off the radio 🙂 I kept my radio playing all night so that if I heard it, I'd wake up and could tape it. It worked and I was so happy, and listened to it on repeat for ages! Went out and bought the CD once I had saved enough. Those were good times.

Even though we were surrounded in our music equipment, we spent countless hours in silence, drinking beer and listening to them rehearse through the walls.

I was 13 and ended up writing an article on the band for school which I aced lol. I showed up early to Peter Clark hall in Guelph and there they were lol 😆 .. To this day one of my all time fave bands & the memories from that night inspired me huge and I pursued music myself later on. I can't wait to see them in Guelph again soon with The Tea Party many moons later. Iconic canadian rock 🙌

1996/97 would have put me at 23 or 24. Damn I feel old. I caught the original IME at Edgefest in Edmonton, AB when they were fulfilling their contractual obligations before Edwin's departure. You could tell he was on a different page from the rest of the band. Saw Edwin 3 times solo afterwards - twice touring Another Spin Around the Sun, once with The Pressure. Never followed IME at all...Edwin was the big draw. Oh yeah, I'm a guy and not gay, just a huge fan of the man's music.
