HEY GUYS!! So as I’m watching this video back, I realized that I clearly have forgotten how to speak in front of a camera because I made NO fucking sense lmao so here are some timestamps for the questions to help you get through this mess: 1:10 “Why did you move to Georgia?” 9:38 “Where have you been?!” 12:39 “Did Gabbie ever apologize/what was the conclusion that came out of your video?” 15:13 “Do you want to have more kids?” 15:34 Update on Noah 18:26 Talking about “old” drunk Jessi lol 19:30 “Will you ever make a podcast?” 20:16 “I live in Georgia, can we be friends?” 20:48 “What are your thoughts on Tiktok?”

The fact that anyone would say that to you about Noah makes me furious. It's so rude and I think it's a horrible thing to do. I'm glad you are going to share Noah with us again. I hope you had an amazing Mother's Day. You deserve it
@KaijaSchmauss4 жыл бұрын
Same. Based on what Jessi has told us, I do think it's possible Noah has some sort of learning disability (though it's probably too soon to say for sure, given that 3 is the youngest age for an autism diagnosis). There's nothing shameful about that. If he does, then the fact that she got him help right away is a good thing because he'll have an easier time getting whatever therapies he needs later on. If not, then he's still getting the treatment he obviously needed at the time.

That 2 year old had to have "rehab" from electronics. I think this is not the case with Noah but wanted to share because it is crazy..came out that the kid was on the phone/tablet for 5+ hours a day

Hey Jessi! See if they will test Noah’s eyesight, if they haven’t already. My nephew’s speech was delayed and they couldn’t figure out a cause (he was tested for many things, autism included). They finally thought to test his eyesight and sure enough, he was EXTREMELY far sighted. Sounds weird, but sight plays a big role in speech development. Might be worth looking into! ❤️

I had a student like Noah! Everyone thought he was autistic. I’m not a doctor but I just knew in my heart he wasn’t. He was frustrated that he couldn’t communicate. I knew as soon as he had his speech he would skyrocket! In the end I was correct and as soon as he started speaking his behavior changed sooo much. Wishing you and Noah well Jessi 💜 you guys have got this!
@NotAnotherKuromi4 жыл бұрын
That is a good point, emotions affect childrens behaviour but adults are often too quick to see the effect & not examine the cause. I also want to add that some autistic children's behaviour stems from a failure to communicate clearly & for the other person to not understand, so they act out.

My sister is a school SLP. I’ve talked to her about her most common cases. Delayed speech at his age is very normal and common. Don’t let dummies discourage you. All the matter is you care about your kid. That separates the good parents from the great parents. Being there for your kid is the most important thing.
@saraha18224 жыл бұрын
I'm no expert, but i completely agree. My brother went through the same thing. He would only make noises and eventually, on his own terms, he started speaking like his speech was never delayed. He's extremely talkative now and super sassy that sometimes I miss the days he didn't speak lol.

I’m a preschool teacher who has 3-4 year olds. I have always found those “milestones” and “checklists” they have for children are for the most part inaccurate. Especially children in multilingual homes they’re just soaking everything in! Girl you’re a great mom and every single child progresses differently and at their own pace. They are literally figuring out how to be a human.
@unscmistressgaming11324 жыл бұрын
I’m a special education teacher and I have to disagree with you. Milestones are important and do say what a child will typically go through. However, many children have delays and it doesn’t always mean something serious. Children who are multilingual will develop speech a little later than children who aren’t. However, it will benefit them later in life. To discredit those milestones though, is choosing to look past symptoms and problem a child may be going through. Those milestones aren’t inaccurate and proper therapies and treatment should be used when important milestones aren’t being made.
@amkurthy66404 жыл бұрын
Milestones are an average. Statistically, that means some will be earlier and some will be later. People tend to forget that there is a range of normative development.

First off, whoever wrote that comment about your son, how rude of you. Everyone has thier issues and born With something they wish they had not that they have to learn to cope with their whole lives. I have anxiety disorder, IBS, and nasuea that I wish on no one because it makes you feel like crap some days. I would suggest being less judgemental and more supportive, especially with talking about someones child. There are definitely more respectable was to say what you did. Please learn to talk to people how you would like to be treated. On another note, Even if you have no video ideas ATM or not sure on a video I always would loooovveeee to see a vlog or cooking video!!! :) Also your Voice is amazing I would love to see more songs from you! And never be afraid to set a goal for yourself for posting! Like maybe write down ideas as they come and write dates for when u are going to film and edit them etc and put them in a notebook or folder on your desktop! xoxo Love ya Jessi! Hope to see more from you soon! Hope you and your family stay safe always and especially thru this pandemic! Xoxo

A lot of kids who grow up in bilingual houses take longer to start developing speech. I had a speech therapist when I was 3-4 and my doctor suspected I was autistic but after age 4 I started being more vocal and social and speaking both Spanish and English. Don’t feel discouraged! He will most likely start speaking later on and be bilingual or speak even more languages bc of Nassim. You’re raising an intelligent little man and I look forward to hearing update about him!

stephanie rodriguez thats actually super incorrect and a common misconception.
@edithflores52014 жыл бұрын
I’m majoring in communicative disorders (speech therapy) and a lot of research shows that bilingualism is not a direct cause of language delays, despite what some professionals still believe. I think it’s important to not associate the two because families will be afraid to teach their kids their native languages. But, everyone develops differently at the end of the day. People should do what they think is best.

hey! about your cute kid's speech: my cousin was in the same situation, understood everything but just wouldn't talk. after a bunch of therapy, when he turned 5 he just started speaking like an adult lol it was the cutest thing! he absorved and learned everything he was being taught, and all of a sudden something clicked and he was ready to talk! every child is different, and i am sure you are doing everything to raise him in the best way possible and he is very obviously a super smart happy kid ❤️ just wanted to show some support because the mean comment you showed is just not acceptable!

I don’t want to overstep, but in regard to Noah, have you checked his ears?! I’m a daycare provider and I’ve seen SOOOO many kids who are delayed in speech and eventually we realize they have fluid in their ears and that’s why they aren’t talking the way we “believe” they should. Typically they get tubes and start talking right away! Also..... don’t let anyone say shit about your kid. No one knows what’s right for him more than you!

Re: Noah, have you had his ears checked? Sorry if you’ve addressed this but just in case it hasn’t come up in your doctors like visits etc., sometimes small, collapsed, or blocked ear ways can go years without being detected and causes delay in speech/communication. Not trying to butt in to his medical treatment but if it were to help in any sort of way, it’s worth me throwing it out there 😊

Tiffany G yes; my godson had that too at the age of 2. They had to operate twice to get rid of the liquid accumulating in the auditory canal (or somewhere in the ear, not very sure here). They put a tube inside so the liquid can always run-off. He’s 3 now and talking all the way!
