I loved your vlog ❤ First time whatching you. The thing that got my attention was you speaking two languages simultaneously. I grew up bilingual, my kids now too, and at the begining they really speak in one sentence both languages. This is the natural way. Would love to read a multilingual book one day 😊

It is a matter of culture for filipinos to mix languages and then just call the composite language filipino (now there is also a an official "Filipino" = mixed tagalog/english/spanish). It is rare to come across filipinos who can speak strictly in just local dialect or just English. Even court cases and education tend to be multilingual endeavors.

It’s so funny… I’m from the U.S., now live in Mexico & learning Spanish. I lived in a Berlin for 3 yrs and I loved it. As a U.S. citizen, I learned so much from the Germans that I still carry with me today eg viewing one’s homeland for exactly what is and as opposed to with rose-colored glasses. Yes, there are stringent laws and “red tape” but overall the country runs a tight ship. And I appreciated it!
