Please excuse the video and audio quality switch up in between cuts...I was bouncing in between my main camera and my iPhone so that I could give you better angles...also I am not a professional technician or painter...just a guy on KZbin...so I’m pretty sure I’m not doing things “technically” the right way....so please try this at your own discretion...I’m not liable if you screw your keyboard up...only if I screw mines up! 😂😂

This is great! The other option is to wrap it with 3M that is used for cards. Did it with my SL-90 ROCK ON!

Next time you do something like this maybe should think about wrapping the keyboard with the stuff they wrap car with. Can buy it in rolls tons of colors and patterns. It is durable, no spraying so not disassembley just have to get good with using exacto knifes to cut and trim around controls and screens. Something to consider.

It looks cool.. pondering doing something similar. Though, if you had wanted a perfect paintjob, you would have painted it white first, as red is a transparent color. This is why your red is not as vibrant as it could have been. Also, it looks like there's a lot of empty room in there. I'm pondering building a raspberry pi into it as midi-soundmaker, so it becomes a fully fledged piano instead of 'just' a midi-controller.

I want to remove the joysticks from my sl73, or at least keep the joystick on the far left, and remove the other two Do you think it's possible ?

Question... I need some advise on what I should do as i am a first time macbook user with mainstage 3 at my church. What should i use for a budget friendly audio interface or should i use an interface at all??

Great channel! What I'm really curious about is why you prefer the SL88 over Native Instrument's S88 MK2

lol I like the old midi and hate USB on my instruments and you go into the opposite direction. But I dig the "Clavia Nord" Red, too.

it seems Studiologic made it really hard to fix the faulty Fatar keybed, which WILL need a repair after a few weeks or months or years, as we all had to learn... On the other side it's hard to find anything better for the price of the SL 88 Studio.

Very interesting, as I was going to see if it was possible to even permanently remove the center screen and knob.
@Johnmike4 жыл бұрын
You could and it would be functional because they are separate on the motherboard from the power and the midi ports...but you’d have no data entry or data feedback on it

@@Johnmike that’s interesting, but I need more space, to put my mouse at the right and my pc keyboard at the left, I’d rather go hardcore and remove the joysticks 😂

The sl88 has the same keybed that the keylab 88 has on it for half the price...so if given the choice I would choose the SL88
