Fun fact: in the restaurant scene when he first started hearing the prayers you can hear Grace's voice saying "how could I have been so stupid?" Because she was asking God who at the moment just so happened to be right there. Paper towels are inefficient to clean that much liquid. As someone who has dealt with plenty of dogs and accidents regarding wood floors, puppy pads are your best bet. Yes for the cleaning. Theyre SUPER absorbent and make cleaning a breeze. Once you get everything up with a couple of puppy pads, then you break out the safe disinfectant, spray the area, and use paper towels to give everything its last wipe down.

It's actually not even that she just wants to get married and have kids. She just wants him to put her first for once. That's pretty much the whole theme. When he's given the power of God, he just does things for himself, and no one else. Even in the mortal side with them going to a romantic dinner, he makes it ALL about him. Then in the end it shows that even without divine powers we can do things to help others.

I can't help but love this movie. Not just because of itself, but it also gives my often-forgotten hometown of Buffalo a spotlight. The action scenes were all shot in San Diego, but several of the backgrounds - like the newsroom background, the scene where Bruce and God are walking around on the lake, the Clint Eastwood scene, and Bruce declaring himself "Bruce Almighty" - were Buffalo. Jim Carrey was born and raised in Toronto, which is only a 90-minute drive from Buffalo. He's said that he made trips to and from Buffalo fairly frequently as a kid and has always spoken very well of the city and his time there. Keifer Sutherland and Mike Myers are also Toronto natives who commuted to Buffalo a lot when they were young. After a mass murder there in 2022, Myers appears on Stephen Colbert's show wearing a Buffalo Sabres jersey to show the people there that he thought of them. Despite what the movie says, the Sabres have never won a championship, and I fully expect the people there would act exactly like they did in the movie if either major team (Sabres or Bills) ever did. And if you like Jim Carrey as a cartoon, it's time to see The Mask - one of my favorite comedies ever.

Just fyi: Here's something people get wrong about blood types. There are two types of donation: Whole platelets, and plasma. Someone with AB+ (less than 4% of the population) can donate PLASMA to anyone, but their PLATELETS can only be donated to other people with AB+ blood. People with O- blood (about 7% of the population) is the exact opposite... they can donate PLATELETS to anyone, but can only donate plasma to other people with type O blood! This is why O- blood is so often the most in demand, because it's the type most often used during surgery. The most common blood type is O+ (about 35% of the population), but they can't donate platelets to anyone with a negative blood type (A-, B-, AB-, or O-).

@@nsasupporter7557 It is in fact underrated because it didnt receive full appreciation it actually deserved and there were people hating on it for "Clowning on God" as they said P.S. the word Underrated doesnt necessarily mean it didnt do well in box office XD

@@mustangh.m6398 nope! None of that is true… I mean yes, it did get criticism for that but you have to understand that that wasn’t everybody who said that. It was still a huge hit movie despite its criticisms, just because a movie is criticized doesn’t mean it was a flop or that it was underrated. You’re just infatuated with the word “underrated” just like so many other weirdos on KZbin are. Bruce Almighty was not underrated! You need to get off of your obsession with the word “underrated” and stop constantly using it when it’s unnecessary

Morgan Freeman was great as God, but Steve Buscemi in Miracle Workers (first season) is even more accurate :D One of the movies that don't age. Love it.

The amount of times he directly messes with free will in this movie yet the movie insists he can't do that. Like when he makes Evan do funny noises.

The real question I have is. Could they pull off a sequel to this and Evan almighty? Maybe grace almighty Maybe she's struggling with postpartum depression. And her faith at the same time Maybe she too is given the powers and abuses them at first. Bruce helps her through the process
