Spoiler free answers: Lucifer's daughter, named Charlie, isn't based on another Christian figure, and is the main character of Hazbin Hotel as well as the hotel's founder. The guy in red is named Alastor and is known as the radio demon. He is an extremely powerful sinner. The character at the end, Mimzy, is a friend of Alastor. And finally, the bodies that sinners appear in rely on both their personalities, how they died, and even family members in some occasions. Ones that resemble animals either had something to do with that animal in life, or were killed because of the animal. As someone else has said, Lucifer isn't Satan and actually represents the sin of Pride. The other sins won't be in the show, but they are seen in Vivzie's other show, Helluva Boss, which is set in the same universe.

You definitely need at least some context at this point 😂 if you react to more songs separately, "Hell is Forever" or "Stayed Gone" are gold. Otherwise I'd say just watch the series already. So context: The girl's name is Charlie, and she is Lucifer's daughter! The other guy is Alastor, the radio demon. Usually 'sinners' are humans who died and went to hell, like Angel or Alastor, but in Charlie's case she was born in hell because she's Lucifer's daughter. This song is actually the first time Alastor and Lucifer met each other, they immediately disliked one another 😂 'Mimzy' is one of Alastor's friends, she's not really relevant to the story and only shows up for like half an episode. A lot of people hate that she interrupted the song, but tbf, I think someone had to interrupt or they would have gone at it forever.

The little Dude is indeed Lucifer and Charlie is his daughter. Alastor the deer guy doesnt like people stronger than him so he automatically doesnt really like Luci so he wanted to rub some salt into his wounds, so he said he is the new father figure for charlie( he definitely doesnt mean it). If u want a song with Charlie i heavily recommend "more than anything" with Lucifer too. I definitely had to cry because its just so beautiful

The daughter sings a lot of songs. I'd recommend Inside Every Demon is a Rainbow, Happy Day in Hell, or It Starts with Sorry. 12:17 A bit of a background gag in this episode is they decide to dress up the hotel for Lucifer's visit, and by dress up they just slap every decoration they had on the walls, including an old birthday banner, countless balloons, and even some Christmas tree lights. So to explain the characters: The cute girl/daughter is Charlie, the main character of the show. She's the Princess of Hell and the founder of the Happy/Hazbin Hotel, Hell's first ever rehab center. Lucifer and Satan are actually separate characters in this world. Lucifer is Charlie's dad and the ruler of Hell. He's a bit of a scatter brain and doesn't often pay attention to what she's doing, but she invites him over this episode and he's so excited to come because she never reaches out to him. The red deer guy is Alastor, the Radio Demon. He was a Sinner that arrived in Hell some time ago and began toppling it's most powerful Overlords over night, broadcasting their screams to the public as a warning of his power. He shows up out of nowhere to help Charlie with her hotel and gives different answers as to why any time someone presses him on it. He's usually not this sweet towards Charlie, he's purely putting on a show to get under Lucifer's skin. And then there's Mimzy... hoo boy. So the gist of her is that she's one of Alastor's old friends who would dance (and maybe bartend) at bars he went too. But what's more interesting his her behind the scenes development: So Hazbin Hotel has been being worked on for ages by this girl named Viviane Medrano. It was originally going to be a comic book and way back in 2014 and she shared concept art of the 9 (if memory serves) main characters planned for the comic. Charlie, Vaggie, Alastor, Angel Dust, Husk, Nifty, Crimni, Mimzy, and Baxter. Eventually Viv decided she wanted to make Hazbin a show, and began crowdfunding for a Pilot episode. In 2019 the Pilot came out. It prominently featured Charlie, Vaggie, Alastor, and Angel Dust, and both Husk and Nifty showed up at the very end of the episode to join the main cast. Crimini, Mimzy, and Baxter were all reduced to non-speaking 5 second or so cameos in crowd shots (Baxter was only a silhouette.) In 2024 the show finally came out. Baxter and Crimini still only exist as background characters, but in this episode Mimzy finally showed up to interact with the cast. For longtime fans, the song is essentially a nod to waiting 10 years to finally see this girl in action. To new fans, they can relate to Lucifer and the Hotel staff's confusion over who tf she is.

Alastor is the red radio demon (my personal fav) he is so cool and charismatic and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! but anyways he is a deer because when he was alive he was a serial killer and when burying a body in the woods a hunter mistakenly took him for a deer and shot him (that’s why when he transforms there’s a red x on his forehead and you can see him transform in the song Stayed Gone) he also posses a radio voice and eyes because he was a radio show host when he was alive! 9:40 reason behind him looking like that it was lore. When he was alive his mother died and made a vow to keep smiling thru all hard ships later on became a radio show host. Something happened along the way became a murderer/cannibal and used a deer hunting ground for fun with his prey. A completely different hunter was on his grounds with hunting hounds. Noticed Alastor while feasting but mistook him for a deer. Got shot and while running away at the same time the hunter got the hounds sent on him and tore him to shreds. Thats why his body looks all stitched up in some scenes. And why he looks the way he does❤

I’m living for your reactions, no matter how frequent you post!! I appreciate the enthusiasm you have for every video, not just Hazbin. After watching so many reactors watch Hazbin I don’t think I’ve seen anyone figure out Alastor is a deer demon on their own. *I* didn’t notice years ago when watching the pilot until I read his lore lol so good eye!! Small side note but I wanna mention Vivzie said that Charlie’s design is based on a Victorian doll, hence her and Lucifer’s circus-like motifs and appearance 🍎🎪

Lucifer has a rubber duck collection, as well as severe depression, just to clarify. While i don't usually like to spoil things, the song without context doesn't make too much sense. Charlie asked Lucifer for help, invited him to the hotel, and now he is here to see what she needs. The reason his bond with Charlie isn't that great is because he is incredibly awkward and anti-social. He has issues with socializing, and doesn't really leave his workshop inside of his home for much of anything. The reason he doesn't leave his workshop is because Charlie's mother, and Lucifers wife Lilith, had disappeared without notice, and Lucy isn't very good with venting about his issues to strangers- so he sort of just bottles them up. Anyways, back to the previous discussion, this song is him trying to tell Charlie that he is willing to help her with anything that she asks for. Alastor, the deer radio guy, likes messing with people for enjoyment, so he tries to upset Lucifer throughout the song. He doesn't get too far, and that's because he is the dad of the year. Lucifer cares for her at an extreme level to leave the comfort of his home, and doesn't mind to show it without restraint throughout his scenes in the show. This is shown in the next song for the episode, More then Anything, is all about how much he cherishes charlie. All in all, i suggest you simply just watch the entire show for the best experience.

I'm obsessed with Hazbin and have been living vicariously through every youtuber doing reaction videos of it that I can find. Gotta say, yours have definitely been my favorites to watch! The way you love to talk about all the little details you catch and theorycraft just from those with no context to the show itself is really fun, imo. I hope you blind react to a few more songs before diving into the full show itself but even if you don't, it'll be a joy to watch you react to the full show too. I'm looking forward to either outcome regardless haha. My recommendations for Spoiler-Free songs to react to before diving into the show would be: Happy Day in Hell, Stayed Gone, and More Than Anything. (More Than Anything is my personal favorite because Charlie and Lucifer are my favorite characters haha.)

I recommend watching the pilot on KZbin before starting the show as it introduces the characters. Also, love that you caught the golden fiddle. I watched a few people reacting to the show and barely anyone recognized it!

You should react to Stayed Gone because it's literally just Alastor insulting his enemy. You also just hear more of Alastor and I love his voice. If you wanna hear Charlie's voice you should listen to Inside of Every Demon is a Rainbow from the pilot or Happy Day in Hell from the first episode. I can't wait to see more!

To give a short lore on the characters showed here: Charlie Morningstar is the Princess of Hell who created the titular "Hazbin Hotel" in Hell's Pride ring to rehabilitate demons so they have a chance to enter Heaven. Lucifer Morningstar is Charlie's father and king of Hell. He also represents the sin of Pride, hence he rules over Pride ring. And Alastor (A.K.A. the Radio Demon) is an Overlord in hell (basically a sinner who has gained power in Hell by owning people's souls through deals) and manager of the Hazbin Hotel. In the song he paints himself as this stepdad-figure for Charlie just to piss Lucifer off, when he actually manages the hotel just for his own benefit, which is "ongoing entertainment by watching the guests fail" Also, Lucifer and Satan are actually separate characters here, with Satan being Ruler AND Sin of Wrath ring in Hell.

Honestly I recommend just watching the show at this point, but if you don’t mind spoilers then going through the songs first is fine too. Also, if you want more Charlie songs, then “Happy Day In Hell” is a good one, and if you want more Lucifer, then “More Than Anything” (from the same episode as the song you just reacted to) is a really sweet father/daughter song between Charlie and Lucifer (honestly this one made me cry). Kind of surprised more people haven’t recommended “More Than Anything” yet, or at least as far as I’ve seen. Anyways, love your reactions, I’d be happy with which ever you decide to do :)

As you now already know, the guys are Lucifer and Alastor. Alastor has lil antlers on his head too, but they get covered up by his ear shaped hair. He's the radio demon, which explains the static and also a deer demon. They were just having a dad-off, or just some kind of beef the entire song with Alastor trying to get under Lucifer's skin.

Here's a fun blink-and-miss-it moment: the piano actually drops directly onto Lucifer's head and you can see his arm sticking out from under it and his violin flying off-screen if you pause at the right moment.

Alastor is a deer your observation is correct this doesn’t spoil anything in the show Viviane has revealed that he was someone in the 1960s who was shot mistaken for a deer as it entails with the X on his forehead and because he died that way it became a part of him and he hates all technology after his passing that’s why he has that voice filter he kinda serves as an anti hero in a way and is very mysterious and ominous but as the season goes the finale reveals something that is very daunting no spoilers though ;)

Looks like most of your other questions have been answered. Hell has an overall circus theme. It's not super obvious in this show, as it's mostly represented by the leaders of Hell, so you see more of it in Helluva Boss, which takes place in the same universe. Clowns are super popular there, and lots of people just randomly look like circus folk.

I love Mattables honest and completely ignorant, for lack of a better term, reactions to this. It's so fun and fresh for someone who has been following the rise of Vivzie (the creator) from the before the pilot. It makes me giggle and smile and have so much joy that this is being spread to new audiences that are enjoying it as much as the old guard is, if you will.
