She's fantastic isn't she? Big shoes to fill, but I think Miho would be proud of her replacement.

The joy and the positivity is one of the many reasons why the fan base adores them. I flew from the U.K. to be at the first gig it was possible for me to attend since becoming a fan. It was a very emotional experience, but worth every penny. Best band in music history. Seriously. Greatest? Not yet, maybe never (because greatness implies widespread popularity), but by far the best by every possible metric. Great reaction…very slick and well researched…a very refreshing change!

Cheers Alex. Couldn't agree with you more in your statement I'd love to see them live one day. Hopefully they play some UK festivals next year. You won't need to travel as far next time hopefully 😁

This song is an early work of LOVEBITES. There are very few songs in their repertoire that have solo parts for bass and drums, which is probably why they chose this song as the opening song for this revival concert, which was also the first performance by new member FAMI (bass).
@melvinthinks Жыл бұрын
I didn't know it was the opening track of the set. That's great to know! I chose well 😜

I did purposefully pick this song (because the Wolfpack 🐺 advised me) that it was Fami's first appearance. She was loving it! 🤟
@LesDexia13 Жыл бұрын
M&M began piano lessons at a very young age, but they didn't pick up guitar until they were out of high school - Miyako at 18 and Midori at 20.

Excellent reaction, excellent observations, excellent knowledge. 👏👏 Fami's (new bassist) happiness, joy and smiling are sooo contagious... 😄She obviously has the time of her life. She fits into Lovebite just perfectly. I recommend "Stand and deliver" to you, video footage of their rehearsals with Fami. There, "seeing is believing". 😄 Lovebites were already excellent with Miho, but with Fami they seem to "take off" into an additional dimension of joy and creativity. Absolutely insane (in the positive meaning). 😄

It's all thanks to the Wolfpack 🐺 and the interweb re my knowledge. I try and make the effort where I can so I not only hear a new track, but learn about the band too. I like knowing their background, how they formed, influences etc. When you know that little bit more about the band you are listening to, I think it helps you react better. Personally speaking, of course. It of course helps that I'd already heard one song before this video, so I was already invested 😁 Fami is great and a breath of fresh air. Miho was also superb, and as the founder, we can only thank her for what she created. But now it's time for this new lineup to take the music to the next level. And I definitely wanna be along for the ride 🤟

Good reaction. Every member in the band plays keyboards. Miyako at the screaming of the end of her solo is in her ecstasy. I love that impression. Shei is playing music to herself and she herself is the best fan of Miyako herself, I guess.

At 3:05 the epicness begins. First Haruna killing her cymbals, then Midori having a solo then Miyaki having a solo and then Fami having a kind of bass solo where she gets attention from Asami that gives her a thumbs up. And then the atomic smile from Fami! Those women are having fun! And so are we.

Thanks for more LOVEBITES! I may be a bit of an 'outlier' among the 'metal-heads' who are fans of LOVEBITES in that I value their lyrics/message to the extent I have written that (in addition to their unsurpassed music composition & performance abilities) it is their lyrics/message that 'fit' today's challenges worldwide that take them from "a great band" to "a meaningful experience". An example: "Rising": kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJ_GmmuBqb19hs0 which has [cc] lyric subtitles for clarity (& to get familiar with Asami's vocal style). 🐺 dreg👁

I think Miyako and Midori are both classically trained pianists aren't they? It's definitely benefitted their guitar playing, for sure 🤘🤘🤘
@СофияУланова-с6г7 ай бұрын
@@melvinthinks Yes they are. Midori started before Miyako, but she stopped and went to become a guitarist. And lately a bodybuilder, because why not. Miyako went and mastered both piano and guitar (and keytar since she was there already). To offer you a clue on who's playing on the piano and who is on the guitar: it's not Midori on either. Since we're there, Asami is a trained ballerina since the age of 5 iirc, and she was performing blues, RnB and gosspell before joining Lovebites and switching to metal.
