It’s a great, tight, jam of a cover. I think people often overlook Jackson’s rock grooves and mistakenly group him in with R&B automatically, but he crowned himself the King of Pop, and he experimented with many styles - and “Smooth Criminal” has a hard-driving rock beat that’s conducive to AAF’s thrashy, garage-band-like sound.

I just remembered the split screens when Michael is moving on the sidewalk squares in Billy Jean. They did the same split screens sequence here. There's also the huge Elizabeth Taylor back tattoo at the very end, which referred to his close friendship with her. He was a huge fan of hers and they bonded over their horrible childhoods as they were both child stars. She remained loyal to him until his death and they're buried close to each other.
