Been putting off trying C200 for way too long already. Some samples I see turn out slightly green tinted, some dont. Did you do any kind of color correction before showing those images or are those straight from the camera?
@debalways3 жыл бұрын
He definitely does color grading before he shows them. The greens aren’t that bright straight from the camera. Fujis film naturally has that green tint but in can be more prevalent in shadows / dark photos or if you underexposed the photo it will be very green. That being said C200 and Superia 400 are very fire give it a try!
@Vanadse3 жыл бұрын
@@debalways I'll take your word on it then and order a couple. Only fuji film I consistently use is Eterna 500T, and regardless of over or underexposure the green cast is unbearable, in nighttime or daytime conditions with an 85B filter on.

When i visited Houston, i went to an art museum and i was taking some pictures with my olympus xa. When i went to the painting section, there was this girl that asked me what camera i was using, told her and she showed me what camera she was using. Turns out it was this exact camera your using, she mentioned that she has been wanting one of the olympus xa cameras for a while now. I then asked if she wanted to trade cameras for a bit, she was happy to use one and we both ended up having a good time. After that we went our separate ways, since i had to leave earlier and while it was fun, i regret not asking if she had a twitter or Instagram or anything.

On hearing what you said about the flash on the camera reminded me of when these cameras were new. I have lots of Olympus point and shoots from the late 80's to early 90's. Back then flash was a big deal. People liked the way flash lit up the foreground and made immages pop. Another thing was daylight flash, it was popular then and Olympus pioneeded two zone metereing to fire the flash if the frame edges were brighter than the centre. Olympus went all the way with flash that is on by default and needs turning off. That used to be a selling feature. Then in the early 2000's flash became less popular and avaiable light only became the thing.
