My 1st trip to the Philippines was Sept 2001 to meet my soon to be wife. We were chatmates about 6 months prior. A short time in the Philippines and I too yes decided if and when I retire I will retire to the Philippines. I was here 3 times three wks each time in a span of 9 months. Yes I loved it in the Philippines. My wife came to the US 2002 and we had a daughter Sept 12 , 2002. 8 years later I found myself laid off from a 26 1/2 yr job at 57 years old. I found a part time job and that got me my full 99 weeks of unemployment. As my unemployment was about to run out I told my wife I think we need to move to the Philippines. She seemed to been happy to hear that. There we were moving to the Philippines on the 9th anniversary of my 1st trip. Our daughter is 3rd yr college at UPLB and been President's List of Scholars all semesters. Life is good. We were spending on food one week in the US what we spent for a month in the Philippines. Great video Chad thank you for posting.

I think I should just give all my possessions away and sell my house and go live in the Philippines. Even if I don’t meet someone in the Philippines, at least I would be in a tropical place with beaches and different cultures to experience. Can I keep my U.S. bank and credit card accounts? Will I be locked out of my accounts after 6 months? Will I have to get a Philippine bank account? All of these videos show the usual things, like how great it is, beautiful women, cost of living. But no one gets much info the details when you’re getting started.

You can keep extend your visa for first month then for 3 months and so on until 3 years before you go out from the PH and return back you do the same until you can apply for permanent resident visa....Just keep researching for the details...

Hi Chad. David here in southern Shikoku Japan. How’s it going? On the topic of this video, I had planned on returning to Canada 🇨🇦. I started working on my plan 2 years ago. I left Vancouver in 2011 for Japan. I’ve never returned. I sure could never afford to return and live in Vancouver now. The only place I could comfortably afford is in the subarctic 12 hours north of Vancouver with 6 months of winter. I finally decided forget it. Now my future plan is to relocate to the Philippines.

In other countries, they're good to go if they pass gr 12 or gr 12 with gr 11 standard due to shaming culture, then get their uni diploma then becomes a foreign student or challenges a multiple choice bio-based subject that gets passed around, doesn't change for years only re-numbered due to luck of funding, allowed upto 3 takes then voila then some will move to USA. Don't kick yourself in the balls, guys. A typical western grannie will tell you straight to your face, "Do I want a man? Yea. Do I need a man? No." And that there is the recipe for disaster. A household of two masculine energies cannot stand. Don't be afraid of a woman needing you. Seeing you as a hero to respect. It can be no other way and the west is just a big feminist psyop. The "no money, no honey" phrase is feminism. Embrace your provider and mentor masculinity. Give to a receptive woman and enjoy the fluid that flows from her.

And if CCP makes a move on Taiwan or flexes further in the region it could get rough there. Many chances to take in life, but the rewards are there for the taking if you plan out correctly. Keep extra funds handy and if another pandemic gets released for politics, get off the Philippines as soon as you can to ride out the BS.

@ChadFosterExplores I've been meeting Filipina women on dating apps, any suggestions on them wanting me to buy multiple subscriptions? Are these women worth my time or do they have other motives? Thank you Chad

sorry but can you clarify what you mean with buying multiple subscriptions and your main concern with the filipinas?

@ChadFosterExplores I buy one dating app subscription (trulyfilipino) her and I talk on the app, but then she tries to get me to also purchase (trulylatino and trulyrussian) is this common practice?
@XxSTMAxX6 ай бұрын
@ChadFosterExplores she asked me to buy trulyfilipino which I did so we can talk. But a few days later she asks me to also buy trulylatino and truly thai. What purpose? We can already talk on the first app. Thanks

I've lived in Asia and you said it all! I'd rather live in the Philippines than in the west any day, cuz what you gain is quality of life itself! The west sucks unless your a millionaire and even then it ain't worth it IMO. I'd rather live in a bamboo and grass hut in the Philippines and drive a scooter then drive a Ferrari and live in a mansion in Beverly Hills! any-day!

Times are changing rapidly in the Philippines. Real-estate is going through the roof. It's more expensive now in Phillipines to buy land or a home than the US. Unless you live far away from hospitals, shopping, or restaurants. It's just a matter of time the cost will bleed over to rentals. You can't buy a $200000 home and rent it for $1000 a month.
@DestinationJapan956 ай бұрын
That’s not the real market though. I agree everything is expensive, but for literally no reason. There are excess homes available all over the country, more supply makes them less valuable The problem is, Filipinos are brain dead and think a 500sqm parcel of land with no road, utilities, survey or anything 5 hours away from a city with all amenities is worth $100k

The province is completely different when you actually live there. I would tell foreigners to try it out for at least a year before building or buying a house. There are many aspects that will drive you completely insane, long term.

Hey Joe6Pack (great name), can you list a few of the 'many aspects of province insanity' Other than the usual suspects of: Roosters, Dogs, Karaoke, Burning trash, lack of amenities, wifi, (seems like Starlink and Solar power will solve a lot of problems) *Is it because you feel like an outcast, not appreciated, isolated (that stuff is family/community specific right??) *Cultural habits/traits of the Province Filipinos you're living around (what are they- do they constantly beg from you in the province?? more so than the city)? -- Seriously asking: I'm in the US, live on my little hobby farm and don't see anyone for maybe a week when I drive in for groceries.... (other than chickens and dogs when I still had em). Interested in your feedback. Peace and Love, B Goat

@@Billy_B_Goat Our problems were mainly noise and gossipy locals trying to create trouble for our family. One neighbor added to his house...one worker with a hammer for 2 years straight. I was always 'spotted' with girls or drunk whenever I would go alone anywhere. Never did either. Lots of shaming the wife for anything and everything. Hate and envy. Some locals were great...others were trash and always trying to get in our business. We love living here in Texas now...truly friendly people, not fake friendly cuz they want something from you. Peaceful and quiet...rules and laws to keep the idiots in line.
@joesixpack56916 ай бұрын
@@Billy_B_Goat I will add that I was in my 40's when I lived there and was one of the youngest expats on our island. I made friends with some local guys but most of them seemed emasculated by my presence and would become jerks trying so hard to save face. Had a much better time in the major cities where the locals are more secure with themselves. Might try the province again when I'm retired and nobody cares about me there.
@Billy_B_Goat6 ай бұрын
@@joesixpack5691 Thanks for the reply. Yeah interrupted sleep is a physical killer... and gossip can be a relationship killer (true or not). Any advice on how to try and manage those issues you described... I mean if she was willing to relocate to Texas then other locations in PH would also be an option right? It's just that I find the States so expensive and my whole family kind of shunned me during the whole Covid/Vax thing. Gov policies and media are really dividing folks and putting a lot of relationships to the test in the US. Super glad things are working out so well for you. BTW, do you happen to follow the Texas Filipino.... he's pretty awesome. Peace, B Goat

I visited the first time, on invitation from a filipino friend in California. Stayed at a downtown hotel in cebu for p400/night. 1990. Traveled around the islands for a month. That was it. All I could think of was coming back. Girls were all over me. It was my hobby to spend long long vacations. Went thru so many attractive young girls, looking for honesty. Foreigners are an automatic target for making dramas to get financial help. Learned the languages and caught on, that lying is not a bad thing here! Didn't marry for real until 15 years later, after i had 500 lives here. Now I'm a resort owner in Bohol, 16 years married with a beautiful daughter. She's 38 I'm 69. Life has always been wonderful for me here in the Philippines!

Dating in the USA is a disaster unless you're a Chad. If you're not a Chad then you are disposable and will be used as a Stepping Stone or Walking ATM. Then the second the woman can find someone better you will be dumped, blocked or ghosted because you are disposable. I have a couple more years then plan to move overseas.
@youngandfree936 ай бұрын
It's not a disaster unless you make it be. You have to be realistic who your dating pool is. If you're tall and good looking, don't drink, don't smoke, very healthy you'll do very well

@MichaelPrudhomme-u7x3 ай бұрын
"Do I want a man? She states. Yes" but also, "Do I need a man? No" You can frame the classic masculinity of provider, protector, and mentor "like an ATM" but that's just a state of mind poisoned by decades of feminism. We have forgotten our heritage in the west. As Rabbi Friedman said, "A wife that doesn't respect her man cannot be a wife." She may want you (for entertainment) but not needing you is a disaster which feeds the high divorce rate.
