Had to laugh about the boots with water😂. Been there done that . Crossing swamps no matter how carefully you try to pick your way thru I guarantee you will find that one hole one inch higher than the top of your boot. Not so bad on hot days but absolute misery if the weather is cold. Nice video!

In a way I look at the hunting in Florida and think that I'm not sure I could enjoy it. I just don't know if it would be the same. Then I look at the main spot I've chosen for this year in PA... You know the drill, you've hunted here a lot. Almost a mile over the side of a mountain, on a point overlooking a steep, dark drainage, surrounded by laurel and oaks, with blow downs, volley ball sized rocks, and pictures of some really nice bucks along with several bears, including a sow with 3 cubs, all of which can't resist the urge to try to reach way up and tear my camera down... Then, I have to admit I'm sorta jealous of your flat terrain and biting insects 😂. Do you guys plan on hunting back in Pennsylvania this year?

I have a few questions if you don't mind Allie. You mentioned you weren't sure if a buck was 'legal'. Could you elaborate? Is there a minimum size to be legal in your state? (im from Canada and its either "antlered" or "antlerless" where I am at. Exception to antlerless doe tagis if a little spike buck is small enough a doe tag can be put onto it (I think its like 4" spike or under or something like that). Secondly I was just wondering the comfort of the saddle hunting stand. I've had a low back injury and can't wait to get bow hunting again... curious if saddle hunting would be killer on the lower back or maybe somehow easier on it?? Thoughts? (question certainly open to other experienced saddle hunting commenters :)

Yes, there is an antler point restriction. Must be of a certain size. The saddle is amazing, but I don't think I'd suggest it with a lower back injury.

Aviation shops sell funnels made to fit women needs to pee. Pick one up and keep on your pack and if have to you can pee in a bottle and never have to come down out of your stand. Probably going to want to practice at home in full gear. In the tree not the place to figure it out 😂

You can go home empty handed here every day because of really good management Lol they let the laws go to long on antlers, when I was a kid it was 1" above hairline and then it went to 3" stayed that way for to long then 5" and now if you can kill antlerless deer on the wma it's 5" and under is considered antlerless or 10" main beam or 3 points on 1 side 1" or longer then the youth can basically kill anything
