I'm amazed that you work a full time job, build cars, and run a you tube channel. You have a ton of energy. For this Nomad, I'd love to see a really high quality paint job on it. But whatever you decide, you are interesting to watch.

I have to admit, I am impresed! Gotten over the anger about your chopping up the delivery. Much of that because it hit so close to home. I've wanted a delivery for years and years and years. Ironic that they are plentiful in your area, they are like hens teeth here. You've truly done a fantastic job in bringing that Nomad back! In the end it's about personal preferences. Obviously your choice is the Nomad, because that was truly a labor of love to ressurrect that one. I admire your can-do, stick to it, work ethic in tackling this build. You are proof that it is possible to do, what others would say is impossible, without a fancy shop and lots of equipment.

The car is looking great! I don't see where some say your work is sub par. I see a rust free '55 Nomad that you saved from the crusher. Just because you don't spend $30,000 on a paint job doesn't mean the car isn't great. In primer or patina, the Nomad is what most of us would drool over. Keep up the good work.

I think you may have stated in an early video on this project that you will not do a total restoration - if I am wrong, I apologize. From the amount of effort and expense you have already put forth I predict this will be at least an 8.5/10 car. You or the next owner will enjoy the finished product.

I gotta say Dan you impressed the hell out of me on this one 35+ years in body shops and I know some really wicked body men that would have never even thought about doing that job unless they were getting paid 1000hrs at body man's pay most of them won't even work on something that old a good friend of mine who I worked with for years and worked for at one time just fixed a 39 or 40 sadan street rod that was a super nice car that got hit in the rear it had 24000 dollars of damage on it he said never again will he do another job like that he said there is two much money in late model collision work for him to be working on old cars and waiting around on parts.

I can honestly say , Dan , You surely saved this one from the grave . That "roof with a VIN" was 1 tow away from the crusher . See through , & picked clean through . Daunting was an understatement . Now ? There's a lot of people eating crow , & I'm one of them . They told me it was turkey , but I'm not so sure ! This is really coming together for you now , just like your friends finding the "they don't exist anymore" parts Jay still has a few of . Thanks BW ! Don's ! I know you took some heat over the "donor" car , but you got what was needed & still there . A lot of it wasn't there either . Both live on in this build . Kudos !
