Hello! Any tips for removing Angelus leather dye from a Jordan 1 midsole?

Unfortuantely no when it comes to dye. If you were to acetone it you’re going to cause it to spread. You most likely will need to dye the whole thing a darker color. If by small chance you’re saying you just got a tiny dot of dye on the midsole you can maybe get it out by acetoning it over and over and potentially trying to sand it down.. but it depends how dark it is

I may try dying the rest of the sole in the future if it continues to bother me. Anyway, I really appreciate the quick response. I recently found your channel and I’m loving the content. Hi - do you ever use Unicorn Spit products mixed with Angelus, and does it work similarly? I've been watching your videos to prep for dying a white pair of Hokas forest green. Unicorn Spit has a sparkly green color that I really like, which I can't find a similar one at Angelus, but I think i need to mix it with the Angelus 2 fabric. Curious on your thoughts on Unicorn Spit. Thanks!

I think as she mentioned it’s best to do original work. If you’re just building your entire base on recreating others brands prints like only doing lv custom air forces then you’re more likely to run into trouble. If you’re doing your own work just creating fan art or even original pieces you’ll be fine

Most likely try the version for synthetic dyes.

I would say it depends how dark the base is, and how dark of a purple you plan to do. You’re much better off starting off with a light colored base like white to get a true purple. Otherwise your colors may just not turn out as intended
