So much can be wasted on the measuring jug. I now use a big syringe. It takes a little longer to measure up but squirting it straight into the sprayer means no mess, no (little) clean up.

I've been considering this, but I never really had the need until 2-3 weeks ago. It's been so cold in QLD that my lawn all of a sudden looks horrible (still best in neighbourhood, I think). I decided to just wait another 4-6 weeks and go full terminator on it for spring. Only because I still can't afford a Porsche.

I've never understood walking behind a sprayer, leaving footprints etc. I always walk backwards, ensuring that I'm walking on pre-spray rather than post-spray areas. Not specific for painting, but for all spraying.
@theaussielawn5 ай бұрын
I understand the thought process but i look at it from a safety perspective. Walking backward with considerable weight on your back full of chemicals is far too risky in my eyes, From tripping / loosing footing and potential for physical injury to wearing said chemicals. For me it's not worth the potential gains from not walking on the sprayed area.

Brenton the lawn looks great. My front tiftuf that doesn't get the lawn solutions product has lost its colour but the back where I have liquid fert applicator in the sprinkler system from lawn solutions is holding reasonable colour. I sprayed spartan preemergent for the first time and my lawn is usually has a lot of winter grass and its very night and day results. Sydney weather is very cold and wet.
