Another excellent video Brenton. I'm glad you showed that first run with the scalper at normal speed, to show how patient people need to be when scalping. It takes time and can give the engine governor a real workout! Ive always felt that too many KZbin vid's show the scalping process at 20x speed which can fool viewers into thinking scalping is a relatively quick and easy job - which it ain't! Very informative video as always, mate. Thanks
@theaussielawn8 ай бұрын
Thanks mate you make a valid point that is easily over looked. It does take time and you do need to be patient

Love your work, end of season renos are my favourite over here in the west. I often too have the game plan to do this and that but end up going full in 🤣 I love how you touched on bench hoc vs actual hoc. So many people believe they are mowing at those lower heights 6,7,8,10mm but actually are not. Great work as always 👍
@theaussielawn8 ай бұрын
I was actually a little shocked myself at the variation between bench and actual in my own lawn. I wouldn’t have thought it would have been that bad lol

Loved the video mate. I just did a huge Tiftuf reno at a local uni. I used the Bushranger mower i have to get the height down and then used the larger self propelled model with the catcher to pick up the debris. They are fantastic mowers. Next time i am your way i will touch base as i would love to stop in again and see that spacer system you have on yours. Jack just brought his first house in Cessnock so he is a bit closer to you.

The old boy loves abit work aye 🤙 probably just wanted to get out of the house😂 looks bloody good and there is nothing better then modifying the lawn mowers im changing the blade on my push mower because the disc with the 4 replacement blades sucks grass gets stuck then drops down and trys to kill the engine all the time

That was a really well made video, explained very well & covering a fair amount of information. Fantastic to see Dad back in a video aswell. A bit of a look at that spacer, could be a good thing, prior to spring time. Your recovery is amazing, well done.

I’m sorta hesitant to show it as I don’t want people to do it and get it wrong and get injured. It was very handy to have him help

Great Work Mate! The only issue I have is that if you were a true professional you’d know that unless you use at least 22 different pieces of machinery you’re just not doing right. The neighbours are going to be embarrassed to live next door ;)
