Awesome to have your dad on the channel 👍, I'm looking forward to your thoughts on the Ryobi Scarifier. I've got one and my recommendation is to make sure you have two big batteries for it (I run 2x 8AHs), and have a go with the optional dethachatching blade (have to buy separately). I tend to favour using the dethating blade as it works well on my Kikuyu

I have a cub cadet with a catcher like that and the grass doesn't come out of the lid like that, do you have it on properly?

@@gregbrown9224 I think it looks worse on camera but also keep in mind we are dealing with grass that is under 10mm in height so a bit will escape through the vent. But also you maybe right the back may not have been fully clipped down

@@The.Drunk-Koala same as the Deere the lid is the air vent. The Cub has a lot more airflow I’ve noticed compared to the deere if you reduce that airflow or add restrictions it will effect the catch. That being said it looks worse on camera. With larger grass leaf you don’t get it as much. Will be using it on a buffalo renovation later this season so will see how it goes with that .

It was getting puffy , the actual mow wasn’t as enjoyable as the mower would slip about a bit . Plus it’s good to clear out all the mat and thatch .
