1:16:00 Twitch chat talking about la campana from RE4 got me curious. Apparently "campana" means bell in both Spanish and Italian, so both Bawk and the twitch chatter were right. Although every website I've looked up says RE4 is set in Spain, so the twitch chatter was probably more right. Thank you for the great randomizer gameplay Bawk, very entertaining!

Probably, but you'll have to use RE 3 as a base since is the same engine as RE 2 but twitched to have Nemesis on it

Turok 2 (With the remaster making it superb because even I can't defend N64 controls. Still have no idea how I played that game every day and WELL as a kid on that control scheme) will always be an amazing game in my eyes, Mr. Soup. And you can't change my mind :p But I've a serious soft spot for the first few Turok games.

I always felt like Turok’s “Expert” controls were very innovative for that time. The real problem was the N64’s terrible controller.

Question to either Bawkbasoup or anyone sharing his opinions on Turok's level design: We are designing a game; what (besides making the scenery distinguisheable between sets) would be essential to add _"flow"_ to a stage transition between sets? For those that may be wondering, an stage's alike an amusement park; it needs to take and keep one's attention for one to want to get on the rides.

I won’t lie if in the Metal Gear Solid marathon if you played MGS VR. I’d say at least the first one. I know how unlikely that would be, but be pretty cool. There is Snake Tales and there is VR on MGS2 Substance, but I would understand not playing MGS2 VR. I do think the first one is generally the more classic, debatably better of the VR games. Cool, maybe funny to see it, but I know how unlikely it would be in the marathon.

@@GuzzlingDuck yeah I only have 2 complaints and both steam from them using the PC code as a basis and not the N64 code. The first is no rumble support. Which for a guy who got the game when it was brand new on N64 (and had said support) is weird. Call it mild OCD but any game I play with a controller especially on console, I want that there. Minus puzzle games. That I can forgive. The second is since there was never a PC port of Turok 3 or Rage Wars, it is highly unlikely we'll ever get remasters of those. Otherwise, I'm happy.

Something my brain likes to do is think about how short a game could be with the right key items (assuming no crashes from sequence breaking). Remake all you would need to do is insert the two Stone and Metal Objects, beat Lisa Trevor, insert the two medals, use the Master Key, Fuse, and Flare and boom, done. Re2 Make just three medals, police card, wristband, fuses. Re2 OG Blue keycard, Heart key, Sewer Tool, Chess Plugs, medals, fuse, MO disk or Blue Keycard, Diamond (?)key, valve handle, explosive, 3 stones, medals, fuse, vaccine, Mo Disk.

RE2 in the N64 has ome randomizer modes, you choose if you also want to randomize key items or not. I don't know if its possible to randomize enemies though

You can run this game on the i7 8700K's UHD630 iGPU. It actually runs at a locked 30fps maxed out. Some spots hit 60fps. If he had an iGPU he could run OG RE1.
