Thanks so much for all the great feedback! Combat is something that I would love to tweak in the next version of the rules. I have also been working with some people on getting a magic system into the next version. AND! Right now I am working on a video for making exciting overland travel if the hero/group needs to travel far distances. I will be sure to keep you posted! Thanks to both for the videos and work👍 It has inspired me to write a full semi-random RPG combat system, mechanics and classes based on MTG that could aid your story system for a full roleplaying experience or be used standalone for a more direct board game/roguelike coop experience

For now i'm writing a document on homebrewery (i think the first draft is almost finished) and I've already made 18 custom mtg class cards (13 based on the ones already existent and added 5 for the missing color pairs wizards hasn't printed yet) I can send the PDFs of all of those to all of you by email or upload them to Google drive, just let me know Also feel free to criticize and add your ideas, i think it's great sharing things and usually more minds together think better than a single one

That is so cool also what you can do too is get some universes beyond cards and mash them up with the different IPS like LOTR,Warhammer400k,Dr who ,now fallout

Going for a certain setting can be pretty easy if you only take cards from one set. There's a few sets on Theros, inspired by greek myths. There's a few on Innistrad, which is gothic horror. There's a few on Kamigawa, which is medieval or scifi Japanese, depending on the set. You can also just add a bunch of one specific thing to the deck. Want more pirates? Vampires? Dogs? Look them up and add a few to your deck. They can be pretty cheap to buy online, especially the common cards.

@@goforthadventurers That is AWESOME! I know some tournaments have had huge recycling bins for everyone’s “trash cards”! 😮 In this case, one person’s trash is really another person’s treasure!! “Bad” cards still have incredible art that can be amazing prompts!
