When their Borders are Persia to the south and Permia to the north, they only have 60k Units, while my HRE has 140k units with my Byzantine dynastic member/allies..and when they attack Byzantine we just crush them in 2 years😂 (2 months of battleing, the rest is traveling).. So it is kinda borring... and for the first 6 months, their entire army just stayed in some duchy in west of Caspian sea doing nothing😢

Lmao I did a scheme to kill him after he took over half the right side of the map. It succeeded and the Mongolian empire split up 🤣 wasn't fighting his 300k army with my 60k army then I somehow became 1st in line for hre and he drank himself to death. It's kind of odd because Ancient Macedonian was definitely Greek: They may as well add a whole bunch of other Ancient Greek subcultures like Athenian, Thebian, Spartan, Syracusan, etc..

@@Wasserkaktus Hard disagree. It makes absolutely no sense in any way whatsoever. If you have some peasants in a region that know how to operate windmills and they are somehow shifted to another culture they aren't going to suddenly forget how to do that. Of course in reality cultural conversions as they happen in the game simply never occurred. Hybridization and divergence is closer to what happened in history. And if a character from one culture turns up to a region to rule it that region is not going to suddenly forget how to make plate armour. Nor will it take that new ruling class centuries to learn how to do so. It's simply nonsensical. it only works with a handful of more social/cultural innovations.

You can use the imperial army tab to get more regiments and you should handle the kingdoms to family members since it makes your noble family stronger and is easier to do stuff like having your son as the heir

As for other realms changing their court language to match yours... that tends to happen when you have very high relative court grandeur. It's one of the reasons I haven’t played as much as I used to ever since Royal Court. It can be a rather horrifying and odd mechanic in certain campaigns.

The parchment icon just under the ressource counters triggers the appearance of a bit of the UI which shows you your estates (when you click on them, it takes you on the map to them). It also shows your armies, and you can also directly go to them by clicking on them. It prevents some of the tedious aspects of the game :) Also, when distributing your estates after a holy war, you can use this interface, or the one with the crown tab, which accomplishes the same goal. I don't know if I'm saying obvious things, but it's been a couple videos where I have Seen you struggle with that, so there you go. Also also, you can locate your "raise armies" marker in the bottom of the military tab, and get taken to it in a similar way as before. And you can relocate it by just clicking on it, then right-clicking on the targets county, you don't need to click on "change location" and all. Sorry if I've been "um actually"-ing you ^^ Thanks for your videos, I love you humour and general demeanor. Finally, I really don't mind when you go on History related tangents, it's fun to learn things this way. PS: waiting for the Henry II video since the release of roads to power, he's right there, you get to disinherit Richard from everything, this has for to be cathartic for you :P

The Conqueror trait seems very overpowered, getting claims everywhere while taking entire empires in one war. Oof. It's not "dead" cultures, it's legendary cultures from antiquity, like ancient Egyptian, Gothic, Macedonian, Trojan and Hunnic, all of which haven't existed for hundreds of years, some for ever a thousand. Those are the only "dead" cultures with zero innovations, and they're in game for gameplay purposes because of the legends system.

Why would a time traveler from ancient Macedon know about siege engines? They are only even in the game for history files. People just use them to larp. Conqueror is OP by design. You're not really supposed to get it

@@derekskelton4187 Now, now, if the player weren't suppose to get Conqueror they wouldn't. The fact of the matter is that players do. The chances increases a lot with certain characters when using the default settings. I have gotten it as Haraldr while conquering the kingdoms you need to form the North Sea Empire. And yes, the trait is OP, and if you don't like it you can turn it off, or enable the Scourge of God modifier.

Currently doing this (without Console) as Ireland and since becoming Rome I’ve absolutely decimated all of Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Mongols took the Byzantine Empire, so when they collapsed I was able to sweep up the remnants.

Not sure why, but with the administrative government you cant give multiple of one level of titles (e.g. 2 count territories) to one person. If you want to be lazy like myself (or Laith) you have to give them the entire upper level. If the upper level is already held (e.g. Empire and you don't want a breakaway) it is just a painful one at a time, or spam local culture or whatever. Then spam give to rightful ruler.

So.. Firs of all Byz armies are OP. Because if you click "imperial armies" you can create MORE man-at-arms regiments. Dk if you did. (and there is probably was some siege weapons). Also when you so OP in terms of like influence - you can do following, to not have any revolts (except peasants) - Make people into administrative government, if they not - Just fucking dismiss them if they don't behave) Byz currently has a fucking annoying thing with counties that came back to you (in top-right there is a button, that list all your armies and duchy holdings - its SO helpful for sorting things) And administrative-kings can't create duchies. To boost army - demand from your kingdom vassals to build men-at-arms regiments. And make them border-theme. They will conquer shit for you)
