@@jtjames79 eldar were (are) my main. I've only played in one tournament and didn't do well but eldar used to be super competitive in DOW tournaments. They snowball like crazy and the teleport mechanic can clutch bad situations. They're even better in Ultimate Apocalypse, because their titans are debatably the best for how much they cost.

Now this is exactly what I've been waiting for. Eldar and Guard fighting over a massive battlefield, little ambush units popping up everywhere. A real focus on the core basic units, proving those aspect warriors can still go shwiiiing!! 😁 puts bring in a guard into perspective too. How good and defensive armour is. Can't get this feel anywhere else; cheers for the dedication 😊

FYI twin linked rerolls the wound roll not the hit role. Oh also while there are not firing arcs blast weapons like the demolisher cannon can’t be shot into the combat. You also forgot the avatar minus one damage unless that was changed for balance reason

​@@ZorpHammerOlder Warhammer missions, when it was part RPG, could have armies which did not know the composition of one another. Or bits of the terrain no side knew what it did. Or what exact objectives they had. A Paranoia-Warhammer crossover I read had an orc duty roster in a room, where you could learn how many they were. Or a gate is in the middle, and both players are told "It fizzles with sparks". The first example mission had a side objective where the ork captain wants to run into a specific house where he knows he hid some treasure, but not so his boyz can see.

Dawn of War is how and why I got into Warhammer 40k and I painted my first box of marines as Blood Ravens just because as well. I love your DoW battle reports and want to see more, more and even more. I'd love to see a video and list of exactly which models you've used to make your squads because how you've done it is almost exactly how I imagined it. As for future battle reports, I know you're working on a Tyranid Army but another very OG dawn of war faction is Chaos. A good old Space Marine vs Chaos battle report will certainly have my attention

Love the game, love the terrain, love everything about this video, only thing I noticed was just that you forgot the Avatar Of Khaine halves all damage that it takes, so all those attacks would’ve done half the damage they did and the Avatar would’ve easily tanked all the shooting

The way the Guard advanced so rapidly felt so immersive since they know the location in and out, so they dont have to be cautious what might be the terrain around the corner and their fanatic zeal makes them double down even with the enemy in sight but their seal also made them unconcentrated in their shooting.
