lmao im dead at the graphics. I very much respect you for being able to look past it, some people with crazy pcs and better graphics complain so fucking much but you understand whats happening with next gen! Ive been there, sometimes you just gotta play!

Good looking graphics are normal nowadays and some of them can't see the fun gameplay sometimes...But I will admit tho, I think the reason why I can play even with the poly graphics is because I played a lot of ps1 games back then and some gameboy. So I understand if they grew up and played their 1st game like Last of Us or something.

On that note my fiance started gaming with Horizon Forbidden West which is one of the best looking games ever.......it took some convincing to get her onto games that didnt have that level of fidelity. Stardew helped me get that point across so well lol

if that helps giving a referece point i messed around with the graphics settings and i was able to make the game use 5.5gbs of VRAM at the very least. the first cause of the ps1 transformation is due the gpu running out of vram to make triangles with. so when the game releases to all of you with relatively old gpus i suggest asking someone with higher specs (mainly vram) to try out the game and check the settings for you, i still remind evryone that the minimal vram spec for the game on the steam page is 6gbs and the suggested is 8gbs of vram, the game still can get ps1'd if it is taking time to load in the models and thats usually an instant at most and its a mix of weird things i cannot find the exact garanteed cause of. also im happy to see you enjoyed the beta even with the ps1 curse.

The graphics was a turn off sure but the game's so fun, actually before the chatacabra mission, the texture was off a bit but all models were normal and when I came back after eating lunch it suddenly became ps1 graphics. But I do think it's gonna be fixed when the game comes out and the game runs smoothly, just the graphics is the problem if they fixed that it's a potential GOTY for 2025 for sure.

You really shouldn't be judging the game too harshly, it was called an open beta for a reason afterall. That version was probably the barest minimum playable version they were able to get ready. Maybe even older than the demo they have been parading around at the different conventions. We will most likely get a more stable and better optimized version of the demo closer to the launch date, probably somewhere in January or early February.
