Your sim is in the culinary career and has certain traits because you made her via story mode, which is the questionnaire thing that comes up when you first enter create a sim. If you don't use story mode, you can choose your sim's traits and stuff like that. If you press ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard, it'll bring up the cheats menu and you can type in testingcheats true and then cas.fulledit mode, then shift + left click on your sim and you'll be able to go back into create a sim and change her traits. As for her job, if you click on the phone icon, you can quit it or find a new one. Also, something funny you can do is go into build mode and click on an object and then press [ or ] on your keyboard to resize it. If you make the bed smaller and then have your sim woohoo, you can see the animation. It's really freaky honestly.

No way you're Polish! So happy to hear that! The Sims as a franchise is overall very iconic but I feel like Poland in particular just loves it so much? To this day there's a thriving community and people still discuss The Sims 2 in great detail (if you look at content creators such as April Black and Marticore) Actually, people's obsession with Sims 2 just shows how good of a game it is even 20 years after its initial release.
