I dont know if anyone will ever read this, so im more just saying my thoughts out loud. There is something so beautiful about Zelda music, and yet something so sacred about church, especially during peoples time alone with God. I dont think this was bad, but if this were me I probably wouldnt be filming it, and maybe selected a gorgeous melody that wouldn't distract me from God. Something very special about keeping church sacred and holy, and this was pointing the connection the other way.
@RedHeadPrincessZelda4 ай бұрын
I can’t help but agree with you on this point. Yes, I LOVE the music from the Zelda games. But, I go to church to put my mind on G-d and all that I’ve done to deserve death so I can repent and then hear the Good News that is the Gospel. If I were to hear a piece of Zelda music in church, it would take my mind away from G-d in that moment, and that’s not what music should be doing in church. The church I go to is very “high church” and liturgical with sacred music to fit the service. And as others have pointed out in the comments, all things, good or bad, G-d can, has, and will use for His Glory. I think what matters hear is the intent of the person playing the music in G-d’s house-is it for His Glory alone? Or is it for internet fame/clout?
