The reason it asks you to rate it 5 minutes in is EXACTLY because of the shop. This is what 99% of mobile games do; they ask the player to rate it immediately and only AFTER that, the shop slowly becomes necessary.

To be completely fair, they're the worst part of an excellent game. Inquisitor Martyr is pretty fantastic right now but they're still trying to fix and tweak those vehicle missions to make them feel better.

it's a cute 3-minutes-session phone game, yes but as a pc game? No reason to ever touch it. And besides, its monetization is exactly like other mobile games; ok at the start when it asks you to rate it and AFTER that you can truly advance only if you spend a little...and then a little more etc... It's the usual predatory style of "it looks not necessary at the start so that casuals will play it for 5 minutes and say "This game is pretty good. Perfect for killing time and isn't donation heavy at all." online, not knowing its true nature"

@@Sephyroth97 I never spend a dime on the game and not once did I hit a "pay or grind yourself to death" wall like many mobile games have. Add on top that it works offline and the result is a pretty decent game, way ahead of 99% of other mobile trash.

@@vahlen5281 the game has every single monetization system known to mobile games; from soft and hard currency to drops to energy etc... The money you have to spend to initially progress is average for a mobile game, definitely like 98% of mobile trash, not as bad as the greediest 1% but nowhere near to the fair stuff. The problem is once you hit 60% energy; the game weakens you, forcing you to either watch an ad to get 10% more energy, pay gold to refill, or wait until you’re back at full strength. It's extremely misleading because you think you have a game that’s certainly not lacking monetization tactics but seems at least tolerable...and then it makes 60% energy be basically 0% energy, since the game requires you to be at full strength to do well enough to get the medals you require to progress later on. It's a short bursts game, like many limited mobile games, nothing special or really worth experiencing for more than 5 minutes. We can find "I never spend a dime on the game" comments for EVERY mobile game, even the most egregious out there and since they'll always be found we can only base ourselves to actual facts...and the facts are that "there's worse stuff out there" is not a reason to play this.

i played for free got the undivided skin one of the top ten damage boosts for multiplayer pve lv55 i have full legendary kit but it gets really hard to accumulate enough ore late game to level it up so im sitting around 3998 power.(im pretty sure max power is around 4200 but i speculate that with the extra paid forge slot your base stats of items is higher) beating campaign is lots of fun however non payed late game sucks with only 3 cr@p missions a day purity seals just come in bulk with consistent play i am usually caught praying for orange drops and not picking seals up entirley. simply getting used to the patterns of the multiplayer lets you get cheap shots on the opponent bot before it starts moving on some maps and the lightning cannon helps you build up fury when it works so yeah really fond memories of clearing campaighn and placing in events in high school re opening it now it feels like a loot crate cash grab, but scoring high on leader board like top 100 gets you regular loot not as hard now the game is dead Edit: the mobile adds with wifi/data on pi$s me off severely, i think they were a later addition it used to only be that you would watch them for free stuff not you get them after missions guuh.

Oh i know a game. Warhammer Champions. A really unique card game that was abandoned by the devs, and was completely unbalanced. I personally played the shit out of it and it got me into AoS a fair bit. I wouldn't recommend it. its filled with bots.
